HOW TO REMOVE INVASIVE VINES part 2

3 weeks ago I posted part 1 of how to remove/kill invasive vines with application of a stump killer. Now part 2 is physically removing the vines themselves from the chainlink fence. There is no easy way to get this done, you need a strong dose of patience. If the mistake had been mine maybe it would be easier, but when the problem is inherited from the previous owners - mentally for me it is a lot worse. But it has to be done so no use complaining. I did this over 3 sessions and now it is looking a lot cleaner. In 2 weeks time I will have to start digging up the stumps themselves and then put up a privacy screen. My neighbour has requested a brown shade cloth and I have no problem with that since I will be planting loads of shrubs in-front of the fence and in about 2 years I will no longer be able to see the fence. Now that I don't have to worry about vines going crazy behind my shrubs and choking both shrubs and trees, I can think about planting some nice things I have been eyeing in my favourite garden centre.
