I want to share gardening tips and advice gained from experience over many years. I am bringing back a garden from years of neglect to former glory and learning along the way and would love to have fellow gardeners and enthusiasts join me on this journey. It even has a fairy at the end of the garden!

Gutted just found you 😢
I've just found your You Tube channel today. I'm in inland Valencia province and have been planting olives on a 2 hectare campo. Your advice on looking after olive trees has been invaluable, particularly in regard to pruning, fertilizing and how not to water. Many thanks. s
💔💔💔 for me, but 😍😍😍 for you
Hi, I just found you now, looking for videos on pruning photinia... We just planted 26 in our back garden as hedges to block the view of our neighbour.. I really enjoyed your video, and will go through the ones you did.. I am heavy into gardening, myself, here in France.. We bought a house in the countryside, and I have been having fun planting and landscaping our Japanese garden on one side, and English garden on the other side in our front yard.. Cheers and thanks!
Thank you for taking the leap and sharing your journey here. I'm trying to learn Environmental Science and I was curious about regrowing trees, and you provided a really great video.
I just found your channel because of my overgrown ancient forsythia. I wanted to know how to properly rejuvenate it. Thank you. I am subscribing to watch your other videos even though no new ones will be forthcoming. Thanks...
How is your succulent garden??
It's doing really well. Every year it gets covered in snow but the Sempervivums can withstand most things. It looks more like a carpet now since the plants thickened up and spread out joining together.
I just bought 100’s to plant on 4 acres and I don’t want to lift them no time for that.,as long as they don’t sit in water and are mulched heavily do u think they’ll make it? Or just plant them in pots??? Thank you granny, I’m Grammies., in 9b.
Excellent presentation. Well done and to the point with (thankfully) with no annoying music! I just bought some caladium tubers and can't wait to get started. Thank you for the wonderful information! Liked and subscribed!
…☹️…and I just found your channel…….😢
OMG! I just found your channel…I’m a Granny too, to my two beautiful grands…. Bingeing now….
No! I just found you today and have planned on watching all your past posts. 😢
..me too…😢
I have those same day lillys that you are sitting next too in your intro. Do you know the name of those? I've researched but have been unsuccessful finding the exact type. I love them because they bloom for so long.
all good listening to this happy lady
thank you for all the good ideas
I go take the keys to a small vacation home in Andalusia this week. It has been sitting empty for 5 years and the various trees need a lot of love. Eventually we hope to retire there, and I look forward to having a beautiful Mediterranean, high-elevation garden. Thank you for sharing your journey. It is great reference.
Still haven't forgotten about you! Have a merry merry Christmas 🐻❄️
Merry Christmas to you too!
Hello! I have learned so much from you. Our olive trees are grateful for your advice and I will certainly miss your gardening tips. Why are you leaving o why? I'm sure your garden will continue to flourish and I wish you the best! Thank you!
On the dead tree behind the bench, why not plant a climbing vine similar to a Climbing Hydrangea? It could become a living sculpture, using the tree as a trellis for the climber.
Oh my gosh! I found you because im about to buy a cornus controversa variegata dogwood so i put it in search on yt. Then i had to watch what apparently was your farewell garden tour that was one yr later, scanning very carefully for the cornus! " ( lets see it was by the chain link fence not the white fence!)"😂 then you said it didnt do well because it got too wet there!😢 im getting one tomorrow and i loved your excitement when you got yours....i will learn from you. THEN i realized i watched you two yrs ago about the floppy italian cypress trees!! What a memory as you helped me there too! Aww, i think your wonderful and i subscribed anyway so i dont lose you and will be watching all your gardening videos! You were an excellent person to watch! I hope your well, i hope you got that nasty Russian olive out of there without incident.. Couldnt you do a one yr update😂 Hope all is ok in your area, so scary all thats happening everywhere..im in Washington state usa. But we have many similar plants. Love, from usa.
I JUST found you and now it's over? 😢 just my luck.
Did you plant something where the Russian Olive tree was taken down?
I still miss you and your videos!
I moved into our current house last November and inherited many trees, bushes, roses, lilies and purple irises. I noticed today the one area that has irises are right beside a tree and the root is pushing the bulbs to the surface and looking for how to dig the bulbs up to share with family this spring but I do not know best way to store them. I found a video that said to put in brown paper bag and to keep an eye for if they are too moist or too dry, but it didn't say what to look for or how to remedy this. I aporeciate any information. 🤩
How are you?
I just now found you today. I watched your video on pruning forsythia. What a wonderful video! But, now I found that you have left KZread. Just so you know, your expertise and personality made a great KZread gardener. I’m going to make my way through your other 100 videos to get more insight. Thank you for generously sharing your garden with us.
What a beautiful garden! I just found you today. Watched a couple videos. Hoping to see all your other videos. I moved from an old beautiful house with landscape that needed completely redone as well. I reworked the mostly shaded space for 20 some years. My perfect spot. Had to downsize. Now we live on a much bigger lot in a small house with full sun nearly on every foot! Starting over, but great fun. Much older now, also a granny, so going slower. I enjoy your love and enthusiasm for gardening. I live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA. I have two lovely Crape Myrtle trees. We call it “Crape Murder” here! Shameful, ugly knuckles! Not in my yard! Thank you for your videos, your knowledge and encouragement. Your hard work in your corner of the world is beautiful! God bless. Good health!

I had a maple cut down (diseeased in the upper truck). I left the stump. Should I apply growth hormone to try and get it growing? Should I water the cut stump daily? Thank you.
I just found you, thank you for your videos you've just helped me with my avocado plants. You will be missed, I will make sure to enjoy and learn from the videos you have left here again thank you very much.
Hi Irish?
What thickness of copper banding do you use? I have seen .002mm, .004mm, .008mm, .012mm. All are 2” (~20cm wide). Which should I use?
Greetings from America! I have a huge landscaping area (1/3 acre_ and Caladiums are "stability points". I do it all from scratch but found two caladium plants at a small dealer and discovered it was actually seven bulbs / plants. Like an idiot, I planted early and of course it stopped, even a leaf falling off. But now that it's mid 80's (27-30° C) they are suddenly taking off. Your video on over-wintering was the best!
Just discovered you! Thank-you so much for keeping your channel alive! Beautiful and very helpful!
:^)
Just found you what a shame your stopping beautiful garden
Why did you block comments on your other videos? I find them so useful because of possibly better ideas, different ways of doing things, sometimes not.
I literally just bumped into your channel last night! I hope you upload again, I am enjoying your videos so much!
Thank you very much.
I'll miss your videos... thank you!
All your advice has been so sensible, useful and focused. I've made notes, particularly to your advice re Italian cypress hedges, nitrogen fertilizing and fungicides and insecticides. All of what you say is direct and that is unusual for many You Tube videos. My new Italian Cypresses are going in in March. Hasta luego, don't give up your vid postings, many of us are delighted with them.
Just found your channel, sad to see it go but will enjoy the videos you have.
Just found your channel. You are an inspiration! I appreciate all of the hard work you've put into making your knowledge available! Cheers 🥂 -Jon
Thank you!
Mrs. Holly Furtick brought me here!!!😍😍😍
