Can you replace that trim panel below tail light without removing light or do I need to remove tail light then pop off and replace it. Mine got crushed and needs to be replaced

You can try wiggling it out (no hardware holding it in) but if it's still snapped in well taking the light out isn't that much trouble. (A flat plastic trim tool might release tabs on top of trim)

1:38 TIP: Keep lower tailgate down to remove lower tail light. If bad wiring is to be replaced Pop-out plastic body-colored trim between bumper and tail light to get to the last remaining wiring connector. Trim piece snaps in (no hardware to remove trim just flex taps loose on top and jiggle)
