I definitely agree yesterday I install mine and it took me 4 hours soooo your about right I really didn’t have a problem getting the e ring on you just need to use some tweezers and steadily install it carefully. The first time I installed the cable it was tooo short wouldn’t go into park pissed me off and then I couldn’t get the the trans shifter connecter on because I had everything install already so I had to undo and redo so yeah he’s right secure the trans connector first put car in park making sure that it’s in the right gear the secure the bolts and cable then connect the cable you should be good after that we’ll that’s my intake every good vid o can hear your frustration D.I.Y # in my djkhalidvoice we da best 😂

So would it be easier to work backwards? Meaning hook the line on gear shifter clip

I literally just broke the little c clip and broke in to tears how frustrating this is on top of all the other shit that broke this month 🤦🏽‍♂️.. 2 axels Transmission shifter lever and shifter cable which were broken by the front drive shaft after that broke off my transfer case which blew up 😢🤣 and by the way the axels broke 2 separate times a week after each other and then a week later everything else 😅😅😅

Hey Peter Do you Have to take that E ring out to join the two cables together or should it snap in with the E ring in place?

Hook up everything in place. In park. Then snap in.
