Cause anything that you put down its basically free money to the dealership in most cases. And plus it doesn’t really help for every $1000 you put down you only get around $20 off the monthly payment. Its better to go to a credit union or your bank depending on which one offers the less interest rate then take a check to the dealership and buy it in full. So now you’re financing with the bank/credit union instead of the dealership

It’s not really a benefit to put $0 down. At a low interest rate like before when they were like 2-3% it made sense. At about 7%, for the life of the loan, it’s a bad idea because you’re paying more interest. Unless you have somewhere else to put that money to get a better return on your money then I understand, otherwise not a good idea.
