I just removed the gear with this puller, I had to buy 2 long screws with bolts $2.00, grinded the heads off the screws so they fit into the case, done in less then a minute, it was impossible to get the gear off without the support bolts.

I managed to get my sprocket off with a 3 leg puller and put a large rex clip around them to hold them in place and it popped right off.

Question buddy my kick starter gear came loose on it's own is their a certain way it faces when sliding it back unto the varriator shaft...? Also I plan on using a long socket to tap it back into place being you already dealt with taking yours off you mind sharing with me how did you get it back on there ....? Thanks

Thinking about adding a kick start to my 2019 Tao Bull 200 atv, first thing will be installing a starter gear to the crankshaft. Is there a front or back to the starter gear? Are they all 20 tooth plus are the cranks the same size? How far should you press the starter gear onto the crankshaft?

I'm fixing to watch your videos because I am fixing to put back together a GY6 that I totally split it completely and putting new everything in it I bought a new motor for my buggy and it didn't fit because of a few little things so I'm taking all the innards out of the new one and putting them in my original case. Do I have to put the kickstarter stuff back in it like that gear that was such a pain to get off as I will never use the kickstarter? Plus which one of your videos would be the best one for me to watch to reassemble this thing

Todd Bearden hi Todd looks like you're going through some challenges here you're able to completely split the crankcase open by removing the kick starter gear however you don't need to kick-start unless you have trouble starting Electric you can do without it just make sure you plug in the CVT cover so no dirt can get into it for the kick-start used to be. If you look at our video channel you can see where it starts talking about the inners of the crankcase assembly, you can start wherever you feel your currently at do I still need to know specifically where you are exactly from installing the Stroker?

NCY STORE is what I did was split it completely apart and I'm at the very beginning of putting it back together I know I need to put the oil pump in and put the crank in and all that so essentially I would like a video to guide me through the very beginning as if it was a brand new disassembled completely motor

Todd Bearden if you took out the crankshaft already that means I assume you got the kick starter gear off as well if so we could start here where it begins to put the oil sealed and everything back on including changing and putting though cam chain oil pump exedra here kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y6iE3MSql7DZfMY.html

@10:38 I've never used a gear puller like that before but even I could see that the 2 bottom bolts have to be tightened so that the 2 bottom halves are tucked under the gear wheel. What the hell is wrong with you, man? Using your HANDS to "squeeze them together"?!?!?

  • @NCYSTORE

VelociPat keep calm if you look at you have to use a the studs the ties the clamp together are very long barely get in themselves let alone tighten with the nuts. As far as the top nuts that could be tight in a little bit more better sure that's not the end of the world.

NCY STORE go to the hardware store and buy another set of bolts for the bottom that are bit longer so you can draw the puller halves together. What your doing can be dangerous.
