I sure like catching foxes, red or grey, so watching you catch fox like crazy was a fun video to watch. Also, I really like your Fox Box made out of the plastic crates. Very good idea. Not sure what you need to keep them alive for however. Are you just relocating them elsewhere? Finally, using the drill auger for stake removal is a winner idea! Thanks for the tip. Great video. Hey man thanks so much for the excellent tip! This will be my first trapping season ever. I have learned so much over the past few months but I was concerned about how I would pull my earth anchors out of the ground in light of my two back surgeries and being 61 years old. You solved my issue. I am just about to order an auger for my dirt holes but now I will have another use for it. Should I get the 2 inch or the 3 inch auger? Again, ‘thanks so much’! 👍
@CarolinaCoyote

They are both handy. If you can afford it, I would get both!! The 2 inch is easier to drill beside the anchor in hard ground than the 3 inch!

As far as my setup I have to bags. Well a bag and a bucket as you see in my videos. The bucket is used for all of my set making equipment. The bag has all of my baits and lures in it. It is VITAL to keep these two things separate because you could potentially put the smell of the bait in the trap bed which would cause for more dig ups. That’s also why I use different gloves for setting the trap and baiting it. Hope this helps!

I got 5 more weeks until I can trap anything. I blew my disc out my lower back pulling one last Friday. It popped so loud sounded like a limb breaking in half. Legs collapsed out from under me and the most excruciating pain imaginable hit me. I was literally crying. My buddy was fixing to call ambulance to try and find me. Before that happened I was having to dig everyone completely out except for in the soft bottoms. Well this was in a bottom and didn’t follow the rules. My trapping partner had to pull rest of mine and when he got to that one he straightened the J hook straight on it. That’s using the stake puller just as I was. Heck with that. Start using drags or toggling off.
