what if you hug a trapped fox instead of use the leash? what are the dangers?
I run MB 550’s and Duke 550, the dukes on occasion require a slight adjustment on Ian height but at 40 dollars less a dozen I’ve got no problems making a slight adjustment.

No polyfil?
AWSOME!
4:52 we'll get him taken care of? what does that mean? taken care of??? what's going on? Ok, seriously now, question: What works better those traps here, which seem labor intensive or the havahart type cages? which are so much easier. I hate foxes. We lost a chicken last week, and the fox is still stalking my rabbits
Those cage traps do work, however it’s hard to convince a smart predator to walk into a cage. The foothold traps (the traps I use) are way more efficient for catching the animal that’s getting your chickens and rabbits. Best of luck!!
@@CarolinaCoyote thank you
Why do you kill foxes don't you eat chicen meat?
Ive never tried the 550s ,but I've have caught cougars in #2 dukes and they held together just find without modification, my favorite trap is the old Montgomery #3 step ins Have used about ever brand , but everybody bitching about Duke's but never have lost a coyote out of one!!!!
Great job bro from 2fellow young trapper up in Canada
I liked the video but wanted to see the throw-aways dispatched. Oh well good video anyways 👍.
If new house made a coil spring trap it would be like a m.b.quaity And American workmanship made ln America for American trappers 👍✌️
I'll put my money on the m .b. Just saying 👍
Really cool seeing footage of the actual catch!
I'll be using this. The coyotes around here are bold enough to kill chickens in broad daylight at this point. People don't understand how destructive and dangerous they are. Unless you get lucky enough to catch one flat footed they get away. No natural predators for them are in the area. I'm surprised they haven't killed any pets here yet. Even with no limit hunting laws they breed like rabbits.
I just cleaned my traps doing this, but I went with a 2-1 water vinegar mix. Let it sit for 3 days and pressure washed, looked like new traps when completed!
Where do you get those chain anchors?
F&T
i tried the trapping trick with fox, groundhogs, coons, skunks, possums, on and on. only to find out they never stop coming. for everyone i caught there were 2, 3,4 and more that showed up. didn't take me long to figure out there are more of them, than me of me. it was easier to fix keeping them out than catching them getting in. specially all the black bears.
How many traps do u set total a year?
I live in nc and wanna start trapping is there a season for it? Or it can be done anytime of the year ?
Do you re-eye and wax your traps every year?
Yes
Thanks for the video
Quick question - when trapping were you using the Reveal Tactacam XPro cell cam when setting up over your traps? If not can you please tell me which model. Thank You!

Watched easiest way to pull earth anchors, from 3yrs. ago,why are you putting the red foxes in a box,so you keep them for urin production for your trapline,or other purpose
great video...thank you
how to set the trap to not catch cats?
Awesome video! If he’s eating chickens try putting a bunch of feathers around your trap.
Hey question on harvesting a coyote?? Why do u sometimes put them in a cage and sometimes u kill them??
I don't understand why people do all of this work and spend money when you can just bury the traps for a few days. That's all I do and I never had a problem catching yotes
Great video
