Ya he didnt have to remove all that
you just need to seperate strut from knuckle( 2 bolts) or seperate ball joint to get enough movement from knuckle to get axle out of knuckle, knuckle stays in place

Is the driver side easier to remove than the passenger ?
Those are the best gloves to work in. I work in a sheet Metal shop and those are all I wear.

God to see u sat a pan underneath the guy who did my replacement just let fall straight to the ground 🤦🏾♀️😒😠
you needed more than a cv axle. TIe rods. You removed everything!! now you nee an alignment!!
