Awesome! I will be creating R&I videos as a part 1 of 2 for a two part video for dent removal. The R&I will be in its own list, making it easier for people to find and who only want to see R&I.

3:07 This was really helpful for me today! Had an extra 7mm and could not figure out where it went! For the record there are 8 7mm's that need removed/replaced.

How hard would it be to completely detached the entire door assembly?? Off the car?

Not difficult at all. Simply disconnect the wiring harness from the a-pillar and remove door strap bolt. Lastly remove the two bolts that attach each of the two door hinges to the door( not from the pillar or car itself) but from the actual door. (The door hinges mount to the vehicle and door)This makes realignment simple when installing the door back into place.

Can you tell what’s behind the door skin in the area of the side mirror from the top of the door and down 4” , thanks (2014)

Yes you can use a flashlight to help

Did all the same stuff but my door wont come off. Something inside still holding on for some reason. Was just trying to replace speakers. Cant get the door panels off. Lifted up and out and it wont pop off.

Interesting…Sometimes it may need a little extra force to remove the panel.

Lot's of R&I. Did you look this up prior to R&I or did you wing it as you went?

No, I pretty much know how to do R&I on most vehicles. So this is one I’ve started making videos for others to look up

Question here.. would a 2014 door panel fit a 2012? Are they the same?

I am not certain. Call the local dealer and ask for parts department. Give them the VIN and ask them if they’re compatible. They will know for sure.

Question? I have a 2014 ford mustang gt and the window will come all the way up and back down. It won't stay up. What do you suggest the problem might be?

The window will go up all the way way but automatically comes right back down. It won't stay up.

Hold the down button for 5 seconds once the window reaches the bottom. Or hold up for 5 seconds. This may reset the switch. If that doesn’t work the window could be in a bind with something at the top such as weather stripping not correctly installed.

Hey man what could cause the window to make like a scratching noise? And whenever I make it go up it stops mid way and automatically goes back down. Any idea?

There could be pressure in one of the run channels where the glass goes into. Try to re-calibrate the window by holding the window switch down for five seconds and then roll it up and hold it for five seconds. What’s the year make model a vehicle?

Make sure the window is bolted in the spot where it needs to be. Try loosening the two bolts that hold the window in and jiggling it around until it feels like it’s in a neutral position then tighten the bolts and try rolling it back up and down until it rolls up and down properly with the door closed.

@@DentBaron so I found out the issue. The wire that makes the window go up came out of the socket where’s it supposed to be at. And it broke and now it doesn’t pull right not allowing it to go up all the way. Any tips on how to fix? It’s a little green piece that broke

Have you ever gotten a door panel off when you can't open the door? Seems something has broken inside the door, and it will not allow it to be unlocked. Passenger side works fine but the drivers side will not unlock with the key, manually or fob. Everything I read says you have to take the door panel off.
