Maybe you should make some swarm catchers for the bird trees.
I removed a wood duck box about 2 times bigger then those you are removing and almost as high. It must have weighed as much as 2 suppers. Left the bees in the box and installed it on a fence post at home, never open them. They are still in there.
how many did you end up taking down.. seems like that new design works a treat..
