My goodness, you're amazing. I've been trying to get the drain out for weeks and couldn't figure out how. Google wasnt giving me anything helpful until i stumbled across your video. Thank you so much!
O gosh I was on the verge of tears 😢 FINALLY! Pulling halfway was key! Thank you so much 😊

Great!
Watched three videos and this is the one that helped me! I had to loosen that little screw just barely. Thank you.
Thank you for this! Mine was still stuck and I had to use pliers, but the halfway up and turning to the left works once I got the pliers on it. Thanks again!
Fala Carlos, pelo sotaque é brazuca, rs. Valeu amigao, com o seu video eu consegui aqui em casa que a tempos nao via jeito. Muito obrigado.
You just saved me from wasting my day!!! Thank you!!!
After a few videos that were useless… yours actually helped me. So simple but I didn’t know about that screw. Saw it. But thought well that will just go down the drain! Thanks for the “unscrew halfway part”! You rock man. Just a simple hair clog. And now it’s draining perfectly! Thank you!!!

Thanks!! I had just wasted about 20 minutes struggling with it. Your first way worked!
Your first method was the only one that worked for me! 😁I looked at a lot of videos. This one worked. I was able to clean the drain.

That's fantastic news! I'm thrilled my method did the trick for you. If you ever dive into another DIY project, you know where to find some guidance. Happy fixing! 🛠️😊
These videos make this look so easy. I pull mine up "half way" and it only turns a 1/4 or so and then it stops. I still can't get it out. I'm just gonna pour a gallon of drano down the drain and let it set for about 6hrs😅

@@DIYPlumbingGuy how do I do that?
My set screw is stuck. It won't budge, so I guess I'll try the other way. 😭

Did you ever take it off?
That was the key, not pulling it up the entire way to unscrew it, just halfway

It’s probably rusted in place. You will need to break it loose with a pair of channel locks
Why do they make that type of drain stopper. How irritating!
rusted screw, what now?
