    Thank you for this! Mine was still stuck and I had to use pliers, but the halfway up and turning to the left works once I got the pliers on it. Thanks again!

    After a few videos that were useless… yours actually helped me. So simple but I didn’t know about that screw. Saw it. But thought well that will just go down the drain! Thanks for the “unscrew halfway part”! You rock man. Just a simple hair clog. And now it’s draining perfectly! Thank you!!!

    These videos make this look so easy. I pull mine up "half way" and it only turns a 1/4 or so and then it stops. I still can't get it out. I'm just gonna pour a gallon of drano down the drain and let it set for about 6hrs😅

    That was the key, not pulling it up the entire way to unscrew it, just halfway

    It’s probably rusted in place. You will need to break it loose with a pair of channel locks
