Scotty Kilmer scotty its a brand called grip tight and a brand called gator grip socket and wrenches that is very similiar to it, and craftsmans got a brand that similiar too and u dont have to turn a bolt with a screwdriver and pliers to torque it on and take it off, try one of these and make a video and tell me what u think.

Scotty Kilmer Hi my name is Ralph I was watching this video, I am trying to find the way to remove a rounded oxygen sensor long short story a new customer call me today (mobile mechanic )since he took the car to a certified mechanic shop and charge him $700 dollars to change the sensors and try to change the o2 sensors and guess what the mechanic told the customer the sensors were replaced but the problem still persists and guess what the super duper master knuckle head mechanic round the sensors and still the same old ones in the cars. Oh by the way the customer's son found about the scam before the came to me and he is only 13 years old how about that. So customer told me the long story . I couldn't believe it how some mechanics have the nuts to do that . But the best part is I have little to no room to work is a Nissan frontier 2002 v6 so the downstream sensors are burried between the cats and tranny I could only and maybe fit a pair of pliers to try. I hope everything is ok and have a blessed day .

Most rounded nuts and bolts aren't close to being accesible for that socket to get at.

This is seriously my favorite channel on KZread! Keep it up, Scotty!!
Love the tool, but they should have used a grade 8 fine thread hex bolt instead of a slot screwdriver to hold the nut secure.
I wish Scotty kept making more videos like this. It's more entertaining and useful than q & a all the time
I just found the holy grail
Scotty you are the man !!I've been learning a lot from watching your videos keep em coming . thank you for the info .
That is a good gadget, but i think it would only work in places where there is plenty space.

Scotty, it's amazing how little some people seem to appreciate your help. Some just want to criticize you and belittle you and all the while they're just doing it to themselves. I for one do appreciate your videos and help. Many of them have been a big help. So, from me to you.......thanks a bunch!!
A simple, effective and thus very very clever idea. Thank you!
Scotty, Just bought one. Great tool and thanks for making this video. Also, Eric the Car Guy did a review as well, but you talked about the two types of metal the tools are made from and that's what sold me.
Watched this one with my son & we did laugh ! (AND I learned something). You're great Scotty.
Holy cow just what I needed. I was servicing my brakes when I found that the slide pin of the caliper was... rounded! Damn pre-owner. The same day I found this jewel I didn't doubt in order one to Chile, South America. Thanks a lot Scotty! you are awesome pal.
I bought Two of these sucker5 because of your video. One for me and one as a present. Thanks Scotty.
scotty kilmer is a great mechanic, very pleasant. love all his videos saves you a fortune.
Man you've helped me a ton over the years. You're great Scotty. Thanks.

Nice tool. My other favorite tool for removing stripped nuts and bolts is my welder. Works magic and saves a lot of time.
Scotty, thank you, this worked great. Oil plug was stripped and I was desperate, then I saw your video on this Go 2 socket. Wow,, worked perfectly. I cant thank you enough.. Seriously,,,, you bailed me out...

The cat is like “GTF away from me man” LOL!

Hey Scotty! Love your videos! I was wonder where you get your blue rubber gloves at! Thanks so much.
I got one of these and it worked like a charm.
Thank god for inventive minds. I really have to buy one of these!
Pretty cool device!
gracias señor i love your videos
I like it. American ingenuity. Very clever.
i wonder if this would work on brake caliper bleed screws
Nice video👍🏻😋🤓
Scotty is a freaking genius!
such an amazing but simple tool, how did no one come up with this before
This sounds like a must have!
This guy is awesome
bad ass definitely getting one!
Nut and a welder, best combo ever for a stripped head
Having been in machining 18 years, removing bolts is typically easy, Drill through the head to the major diameter of the thread til it comes off, then a small screwdriver and back it out. Right now I have a rounded lug that I will be using a bolt extractor that goes on the outside of the lug
Scotty you are hilarious and fun to watch...lol Most important thank you for all your videos, your so knowledgeable in vehicles. Do you recommend this for a rusted caliper bolt? It is stuck right in there and I am out of options to try. I have a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander.
Great to be a famous mechanic on tube innit! That tool is like an epiphany for me who only ever had cars that were decades old... hope its affordable too
Cool video, very ingenious idea for a tool. I actually purchased one because of this, I always seem to run into seized brake caliper bleeder screws. I'll give it a shot next time.
nice video. whats your opinion about the slk 200 2009 model. i am looking to buy a used one. thanx
Very handy tool
Cool tool I need to get one
Sometimes i just put duct tape around the bolt. That usually helps it grab on to the wrench better.

This is a really smart idea. So much better than cutting the bolt off along with the thread.
Will this work on my intake camshaft vtc actuator? The bolt was so hard on, ended up messing it up and it's pretty rounded now. Will the insane amount of force needed to loosen the vtc actuator bolt break the thing scotty demonstrated here? here?
For the price, its worth having it. There's always that one bolt/nut that just effs up your day!
I have a set of 4 plumbers wrenches that shall take care of any nut job going. They are especially good for taking off completely rounded up nuts where not even the corners are there any more. Excellent video Scotty.

What about the pipe wrench?
Oh that's awesome!!!
thanks Scotty.
Scotty, that socket for rounded off nuts needs a hex head nut, NOT a screw nut. Use a wrench or socket to tighten or loosen. I cannot believe they made that great idea for a slot head screwdriver.

Hey scotty i have a forester 2004 caliper front bracket bolt seize both dont move at all, no much room either beside heating is there a good way to pull it out without breaking it
I just got back from taking my car to the mechanics because my AWD and ABS disabled and they said I needed a new wheel hub sensor on drivers side. I wasn't feeling to upto the job so I asked how much it would be, they told me $255 for the part and About $400 for labor. I got out of there ASAP I later went and bought the part for $65 and did it myself in about an hour and a half! They also told me my power steering was leaking and to replace something ( I forgot what ) they wanted $1200 for just that job!!!!! So now to change steering rack and pinion seals :/ but thanks for your informative videos! They have helped me find easy ways to do hard things.
