I never did a middle part until recently. I grew my hair out for maybe 2 years, it looked good but wasn’t getting calls back from interviews. Before growing out i just brush to one side or down like beiber. Lady who cut my hair threw it in a middle part and it looks great wish i knew how i pulled it off 20 years ago

I wasn’t getting any calls back either, I had to start slicking it back neatly and clean shave my face to look presentable (I had a beard as well) but it was well worth it, I can braid it for weeks now. Hope you’re enjoying your hair 🙏🏽

It won't. You can style it like that for the day but your hair will ALWAYS go back to that middle part or wherever you naturally have a part. It's all genetics.

I've had this mastered for awhile, but at 34 my slight widows peak is now all but disintegrated, leaving a baby hair silhouette that looks horrendous to me. Makes it look like my hairline is receding from the center with the amount of baby hairs that don't stay clumped with the rest of the hair along my hairline. If I can get the baby hairs to stay up, it looks fine, but even with product they almost always end up flying free and it just look so ridiculous to me. I've been told plucking or shaving them is a horrible idea, so I've abstained.

Help, i unfortunately do not own a blow dry and my middle part seems to always come back no matter how many times i comb my hair downwards and my hair happens to be short by the way.

And for curly/wave hairs (my hair is a 2C/3A)

I didn't have a part before I grew my hair down past my shoulders then I let it do what it wanted and the middle part is what I got. And when I cut it the part didn't go away I've tried everything I even got a buzzcut and it still came back so im hoping this helps somehow

@@snorlaxdayotry powder holds, I have the same problem and those are phenomenal. The only downside is, like he said in the video, you can’t run your hair through. Once you start touching your hair with powder holds it loses all the styling you did with it.

It comes down to simply adding product. My crafted matte pomade is perfect for that. Apply a small amount to dry hair but I’ve done lots of videos on this topic.

Round brush with 1/4” barrel. Front to back, roll up sections with the brush, blow dry on warm, then switch to cold to lock it in. Finish with a diffuser attachment while using your hand to scrunch the hair
