    Yes, these two mean the same thing. I would most of the time use the reflexive pronoun, but you can also use a possessive pronoun instead if the verb is only partially reflexive. If you have a true reflexive verb, you have to use the reflexive pronoun.

    Eine Frage bitte: (I saw this in another web) why here is kind of two AKK and two DAT or is because of the preposition that demands AKK/über-DAT/von prevails? 1.- "Ich freue mich total über deinen Besuch." 2.- "Kann ich mir ein paar Eurro von dir leihen?"

  • @jamie_miller

    @jamie_miller

    3 жыл бұрын

    Eine gute Frage, aber du hast die richtige Antwort schon gesagt! Ein Verb hat nur ein (1) Dativobjekt (oder Dativobjekt-Liste, z.B. "Er hilft mir und dem Baum") und/oder ein (1) Akkusativobjekt (oder Akkusativobjekt-Liste, z.B. "Ich kaufe den Käse und einen Apfel"), aber der ganze Satz kann viele wörter im Dativ oder im Akkusativ haben, weil Präpositionen typisch auch den Dativ oder den Akkusativ brauchen. A good question, but you already said the correct answer! A verb only has one dative object (or list of dative objects, e.g. "He helps me and the tree") and/or one accusative object (or list of accusative objects, e.g. "I buy the cheese and an apple"), but the *whole sentence* can have many words in dative or accusative, because prepositions typically also need the dative or the accusative.
