Having a throttle body issue on my 08 Nitro. Looking for a new Throttle Body. Does it need to be an official Mopar part? Or do the OEMs work just as well? Around $250-300 for Mopar. $70 for OEM.

Thanks for the video, but it is totally useless for folks without scanners like myself.

Spend $2500 to save $80, got it.

Is jbox absolutely required to do this or just the autel maxysys scanner.

This is great and all but what happened a when I don’t have that expensive piece of equipment is there a reset without the hook up to where it will go back to original settings. And my issue has to do with a 2016 hellcat challenger tb recalibration. Any ideas it desperately needed to be cleaned but didn’t account for the electron tb being out of sync after cleaning. Forgot everything’s a computer now day and I got to push this putting 5 time and then do this 2 times then wait in some gay sequence like this I’m sure.

When I try to access the full data stream or the special function, my scanner loses communication and I have to restart. Is it possible my tpom module is out?

I replaced Throttle Body on 2008 Dodge Charger 3.5. I did relearn on my scanner it Launch scanner. It says it passed but light with lighting ⚡ on dash is still on

Your videos have help quite a bit but I’m a little stuck now. So I’ve replaced my battery and alternator and cleaned the throttle body on my Dodge Journey and it won’t start. Still gives me p0562 code. Any ideas?

it took 10 minites to start affter throttle cleaning

guys can you please help me... I got 2014 hyundai tucson (2.4 GDI), I have rebuilt the engine and it works fine, but... when started cold it keep rpms high and wont come down for a long time, when started hot it goes down to 700rpm quickly as it should do... Also when driving without applying throttle rpms go up and down, ( slightly but still abnormally). So what should it be? I have cleaned the throttle body, scanner shows no faults at all, I have a perfect vacuum and everything else works fine. Any suggestions???

Do you need the scanner to do it?

No you don't!... Freakin idiot... SMH......... The scanner just makes it easier cause it tells you how to do the procedure for this and other parts..... Don't listen to THAT guy ^^^

Whenever we remove throthle body and disconnect the connector we need calibration or learning.

Can it be done without the scanner? I have 07 caliber with lightning bolt on the dash I changed throttle body an car still won’t start.only cranks over an light is still on the dash

Honda..unhook battery wait 30 sec. hook battery up, start let idle 10 min with out ANYTHING on.....no ac , radio, lights, dont run anything. car will relearn idle on its own

You could always buy a cheap scanner ($300). Some cars also have a relearn procedure without needing a scanner.

Its not free if i have to buy a 10k diagnostic reader writer
