In this video will show you how to refill the DEF fluid on a Mercedes sprinter van diesel engine vehicle. The process is very similar for most diesel fuel trucks and vans. Remember never to add DEF to your diesel tank. There is a special port that is used to refill DEF fluid. We walk you through the process step-by-step and show you the type of DEF fluid that we have chosen for our vehicle type. Hopefully this video helps you understand a little more about the fluid and the simple process for refilling your DEF system.

The DEF Does NOT mix & Burn with the Diesel Fluid, if it did - you could just pour it into the tank like an Additive!! (This is NOT an Additive so ONLY PUT INTO THE DEF FILL LOCATION!) The Diesel Exhaust Fluid Doesn't go thru the engine or Fuel Injectors - It's an After treatment (Meaning After the Engine Burns the Fuel) then when the filter is being "sooted up" DEF is Sprayed into the Exhaust Filters to Capture Harmful NOx gas and Burn it at High temps (reaching up to & over 1000°) in the DPF system.
