How to reduce stiffness on the Clearview Next Gen and Compact Towing Mirrors

Are your Clearview Mirrors getting hard to pull in and out?
If you're looking to reduce mirror stiffness when extending and retracting your Clearview Next Gen or Compact Towing Mirrors, then this video is for you!
For demonstration purposes we have performed this process on a bench with the Next Gen Towing Mirrors. You can still perform this process on both the Compact and Next Gen Towing Mirror whilst the Mirrors are installed on your vehicle.
This maintenance includes pulling the mirror into the fully extended position and applying the dry lubricant on the arms. We recommend using WD-40 Dry PTFE Lubricate, and performing minor maintenance every 6 months, or after any big trip to ensure longevity of your Clearview Towing Mirrors!

THANK YOU! Got brand new clearview mirror and driver's side is super hard to extend. Was about to call customer service for that. Gotta try this when I get back home fron my trip.
