The Next Gen top mirror is a flat mirror which gives a 1:1 ratio - in that what you see in the mirror, is where it is, without any distortion that a convex mirror will provide. We do offer replacement convex mirrors on our website if you'd like to replace your flat mirror glass with a convex mirror glass. Just make sure when you order your mirror glass that you are ordering the correct one with the relevant functionality of your current mirror glass - ie BSM, Heat etc. You can find the replacement parts here: www.clearviewaccessories.com.au/clearview_product_category/towing_mirror_replacement_parts/
