I actually figured my boyfriend worked extra shift which originally he won’t cos of his health and I needed to contact neutralhack001@ gmail .com for immediate assistance... this is not a joke, I had access to his WhatsApp without his phone and get to see deleted messages

I think you need to learn the difference between "recover" and "backup"......

Today I accidentally deleted a very important business text with contract details. I downloaded sms Backup & Restore App, followed step by step instructions and that text and all related files were restored. Thanks Jessica!

I did that, but it didn't restore the message thread I had accidentally deleted PRIOR to installing the app.

Let's be clear. This software is a backup software for your current messages. It will not recover any messages prior to you installing this.

This doesn't work. It only backs up current messages, not the ones I deleted before app installation. Will you please explain this? Why does it not retrieve previously deleted messages?

The title and what you say is different. What if I deleted already and I don't have the app on my phone? You don't explain that.

Waste of time. You have to do this BEFORE you delete the message. This title makes it sound like this will recover messages without a backup.

Misleading title. This only backs up data presently on the phone. It CAN get deleted items, but it makes you ROOT your phone. If this is done, it voids any warranty on the phone. What a waste of my time. Turns out that my Samsung acct on my phone had backed up all my text messages.

Can you restore intentionally deleted messages on Android if they weren't backed up??

Ok guys, I may have found a solution. So on your android (I have a galaxy s8), go to your settings > accounts and backup > restore data Select the messages option, click restore and you should be good to go!!! I was missing messages from only the past 10 days, but they werent important, but hopefully this helps a little!!!

I was 'trying' to recover deleted text messages from my husband's phone, but all it recovered were the messages he STILL HAD on his phone. I was hoping it would 'actually recover' messages that were accidentally deleted a week or 2 ago. So much for that.
