After the game is it ok to have the recovery session the following day and the next day off completely the start normal session after that. If is ok, what is the reason behind that?

Gotta hit that 10 minute mark
I haven't tried all these...but following things works perfect for me- 1.Take a cold shower right after the match 2.Use foam roller and self massage the thighs, calves, sides of shinbone 3. Eat protein containing food and drink enough water 4. sleep early and wake up late in the next day 5.Go fo a light jogging later that afternoon

@amitkumarsatpathi6927

Do 100 incline pushups everyday, train abbs 2 times in a week, train your legs with 30×3 air squat every other day. That's it...and you can go for a little run in the morning also if possible

I do either push pull or leg day after that day 😄
They don't actually run 9-10 miles per game, it's 9-11km per game. Top players from the European top teams don't cover more than 10km per game. Messi 5km, Ronaldo 6km, Hamsik 8km for seasons 17/18.

im like an all round player but more attacking i kinda want to start playing winger or center attacking mid so should i start to learn the ronaldo chop the stepover and the feint or what would you recommend
@bredahl-footballfreekicksa636

I play wing and for me, the most important feint is the body feint, cause im really fast and can quickly get past them. But the chop always work:)
@SimplySoccer

Those are 3 really good moves for wingers. Just make sure you practice them often!

Hi, the next day after match, Jogging is pretty good way to recover. How long it would be better?
@SimplySoccer
7 жыл бұрын
Not too long. Usually anywhere between 10-30 min is good, but don't tire yourself out. The purpose of the run is for recovery, not fitness

I have one. I think they're great!
the football pitch i usually play is about 2 km far from my house.Would it be good if i walk back home and do some casual jogging?
@SimplySoccer

That should be fine. A nice casual jog or walk from there should work.
My ankle sprained during a game and I’ve been wearing an ankle support for two weeks , it got better but not fully as I still feel a little sore in it, now I don’t know when should I get back to the pitch and how should I recover from this and how to avoid getting it sprained again. Can someone help me please.

Try and recover when you can then. I would have the same thing going on during the summer and we would just do everything we could to recover and rest during our down time in between matches
hiiii, my son's ankles are sore after game , is it normal??
@SimplySoccer

Hard to tell. If it continues just have him rest for a day or two and see if it goes away. If it persists, I would go get it checked by an expert.
Why are ice baths so good for you? Pls answer if you know
@footballislife3603
7 жыл бұрын
Albin_Fifa I think they are good because they drop the temperature of the body. Therefore you heart will send extra blood to the colder parts in order to increase their tempereture. This extra blood speeds up the healing process.I suppose

Here's a good article that gives some good advice on it. He gives some do's and dont's along with the idea behind why it is believed that ice baths are effective: www.active.com/triathlon/articles/8-ice-bath-dos-and-don-ts

Albin_Fifa the cool temp expell those lactic acid built from those intense work(soccer game etc) . thats the basic concept.

What if u have a game on Saturday and Sunday (2 days in a row)
@SimplySoccer
7 жыл бұрын
Just do everything you can. It's not ideal, but you can make it work. Take it easy after the game on Saturday leading up to the game on Sunday and I would take Monday off entirely.
yeah its not 9 / 10 miles. its 9 / 10 Km. ive seen up to 12 AT MOST Kilometers.
