does DemoCreator look at the computer's Audio Preferences ??? if so, it's better than Corel !! i have had the Corel video editor since 2019, and i can absolutely assure you it is impossible to get it to recognize a microphone on an audio interface.

i have a UAD Apollo Twin. if DemoCreator can either figure that out, or will let me configure it to my computers audio preferences ( which are set to the Apollo ) then i am in....Corel is crap, i am sick of it.

I can screen record but only on chrome, settings but not on the desktop itself and adobe photoshop. What would I do? I badly needed it to do an tutorial.

For me my windows game bar doesn’t let me record it says it’s not available for a desktop

I use the (Windows Alt R) screen recorder, but it doesn't capture pop out windows (example: brush size on an art program)

did you choose your recording area? Once confirmed, the recording button is on red then you can click and start recordings

When using the game bar recording it doesn’t show the menu drop downs in the recording. Can this be fixed?

did you use virtual desktop screen on macOS? Now, gaming mode is available for Wins only

Fantastic Video with great information! Unfortunately, when using the Window + G recording function (Windows 10 in 2024) it doesn't let me record anything. I want to record selecting my C drive and how to get to certain locations for Training purposes but cannot do it. It cuts off. If I try to use this function from the Windows File Explorer it says: "Windows Gaming Features aren't available for the Windows Desktop or File Explorer." Booooo! I tried to access Screen Captures (Vid) from MS Word, File > Open > Browse, but the recording will only record from that view and stops on the browse screen. Interestingly, it continue to show the pointer, but it is not reflecting the screen my pointer is actually on. On my end (what I can visually see at the time of the recording), it shows me choosing file folders, and moving through the screens that I would like to record, but it doesn't actually record it, which defeats the purpose. 😕Additionally, if I start the recording in Word, I cannot leave out of Word. Same is true if I record with Power Point. Are these limitations expected? If so, this is pointless for multiscreen video screen captures. :/ Any feedback you can offer is welcomed. Thanks

yes, there are many limitations to MS word or PowerPoint Presentation's in-built recorder, you can try with DemoCreator's video recorder, it allows you to record the screen even you leave out of any software, the recording keeps going.

I tried the Winkey-Alt-R and video worked great but I got no Audio???

Hi, yes, gaming mode is for recording software gameplays, if you're playing online gamplays, use "all-in-one" recorder is enough

anytime I try to use the game bar to record, it doesn't work. the buttons are there, but pressing them does nothing. Pressing the option saying it's a game doesn't help

we'll not lower the resolution than your recording's, please confirm it again. Can't read a word? I guess you're watching it in our editor, please wait a while and it will turn normal when the uploadings finished. In a word, democreator will not lower your recording resolution when exporting it.
