The new AG doll carrier is really cool. I ususlly travel with that, it really protects your doll. I also take doll luggage bag and a backpack with some stuff.

My sister and I have “my life as” carriers and they work wonders

This video was super helpful! I'm known in my family for overpacking, especially for my dolls!! I always bring a ton of doll clothes that I never end up using. I'm going on a trip soon, and since I take a lot more photos of my dolls than I used to and play with them less, I think it will be easier to not overpack! Packing is my favourite part of travelling with my doll, so I'm really looking forward to it!

Most photos are top up anyways so I would prioritize packing different shirts over pants

Wow! That was a great video! Thank you. Will be taking a doll or two to a mountain resort. Car trip. I think I’ll do your giant tote bag idea, with ziplock storage. I love the tip of dressing in such a way to avoid scratching and managing the hair with braids. Great ideas.

This has helped a lot I am going to NYC in 3 weeks and I am bringing my ag doll for the first time I am staying there for 4nights 5 days! Ty!

I recently went traveling for 4 months… I took three dolls and way too many clothes and accessories… and I used them like 5 times. But I did lug them all around the world so at least I can tick that off my bucket list 🙄

I agree with the doll luggage part. Plastic doll luggages can't hold like anything but I do have a Our Generation luggage made of fabric that can fit 3 pants, 2 tops, a PJ set plus accessories.

Great ideas. I’ve used the ziplocks for clothes and accessories for years. I’ve never seen or even thought about putting a doll inside a sleeping bag head first. Great tip! I’ll be using it this summer when we go to Yellowstone. We travel at least once a year by car and plane and I always have at least 1 Doll with me.

So far the only items I have not used are the passport (too shy to take airport photos in public), the shorts (don’t want her getting scuffed) and the blue top but I may take a few more photos before I go home.

I wish I knew about the sleeping bag tip when I brought my doll to Florida with me last month. Even though her clothes covered her limbs, when i took her out of my carryon she somehow managed to get a big stain on one of her hands 😅 Will definitely be doing that in the future!

I usually pack other things such as electronics and snacks in my bag, so I find it’s more practical to use a proper backpac

11:01 I’ve kept the dolls braids in for probably a year at this point 😭 I should probably take them out, I just haven’t had the chance. I meant to take them out, but I forgot

I’m going to Tennessee later this summer. Not sure if I’ll bring a doll yet, probably not. The family I’m traveling with are not very “doll friendly “ 🙄. Maybe when I go to Disney in the fall.

Dolls can definitely be a hassle to travel with so don’t feel obligated to take them on every trip!

A nice hack to try if you don’t have a doll sleeping bag is a human sized pillow case .

To be honest I don’t even understand why I have comments. I know KZread turns them off on a lot of “kids channels” and I don’t try to target kids, I just try to be family friendly. I get many comments from adults and parents but the occasional one from a kid (if you are under 13 you shouldn’t technically be on KZread). I’m going to assume I have comments due to my content being more talking rather then an agsm but I truly have no idea why KZread turns off some and not others. My channel is intended for viewers 13+ though

What grade of micro-mesh do you use on your dolls? I’ve encountered my first shine mark *sob* I think my engagement ring got my mini-me lol

Oh no! I don’t remember off the top of my head… but there is a KZread video about how to remove shine marks (I think they demonstrated on a Nellie doll) and I use the ones recommended in that video

This may sound like a weird question, but what do you actually do with your dolls? Do you play pretend with them or just enjoy dressing them up? I have 2 dolls but don’t know any other people like me, so I’m curious as to what other people get out of the hobby.

For me since I’ve been on social media for so long, it’s more about the community. I’ve made some of my closest friends because of my doll hobby so that helps keep me into it. I usually just change their hair and outfits and display them. Sometimes I take photos as well. I also sew for them. I’m not that creative so playing isn’t really my thing… it’s more like showing off my collection

Hi I wouldn't bring your doll with you to pack or take anywhere Right now People are getting crazier and more desperate someone can easily steal your doll and then turn around and Easley sell the doll. when I'd wanted to pack one of my doll's to take with me I don't bring any extra outfits or Assccories,just the doll brush and a hair tie, i might change her outfit before taking her with me or I just keep her in the outfit that she has on and depending on what doll I want to take with me she might or might not be wearing shoes. Then I braid her hair or put in a ponytail so that her hair doesn't get messed up.

I have never heard of people stealing American girl dolls… just like any personal item as long as you keep an eye on your doll in the airport and keep her in a safe drawer in your hotel room they should be fine

No where special 🤷‍♀️ just to cottages and biking around my town
