The fact that nobody talks about the forbidden book Making Money Your Reality speaks volumes about how people are stuck in a trance
Summary: 1. Don’t over achieve. Start low: 1 page/day minimum. 2. Read before internet dopamine fix. 3. Habit bunching, read with your morning coffee. 4. Try audiobooks. (Even while working out... habit bunching). 5. Change your attitude, self identify as a reader.

As a daily reader, I approve of this video. I started out small, and now read around 100 pages a day. In the past, reading was boring to me, now I can’t wait until it’s that time of the day to read!

Don't just read the books, write down 4 things: 1. Characters names as they are mentioned with their roles. 2. Unknown words to you and search the meanning. 3. Any interesting or revolutionary idea to you personally. 4. A small resume of each page mentioning the most basic things that happened on that page or chapter. Reading just by reading is not learning, we need to self educate ourselves when reading a book because 10 years from now you will forget almost everything of that book, but if you write these 4 points you can read in a few minutes the main things of the book and remember most of it... yea now just reading sounds easier.

Yeah as he said, start small, a page a day. If you don’t like reading doing this everyone will make you never read again. This is mostly advice for people who read regularly
I used to hate reading but I found that if you start with smaller books (100 page ish books) and slowly work bigger it kinda gets easier. Also, if you are like me and can't sit still for 2 minutes to read a page or accidentally fall asleep when reading anything, that's okay. Just keep trying again and again and again and again. You'll slowly build your focus and even if you don't at least you'll get the much needed sleep you need :)

Holy shit that intro is so me. I find all these books that I want to read, but when I come to sit down- I can barely keep focus and follow through. It's taken me around 2 weeks to read 100 pages due to the lack of consistency. Then i end up feeling bad thinking that I'm just not cut out. I see people that can get lost in books and read lots and I'm just so envious of that, I really want to get to that stage.

It's not all sunshine. Most people who read a lot get glasses rather sooner than later. Those who don't, have better eyesight for a longer time. Eyes are not made for reading lots of information. Also, most people who "read a lot" read low level literature, keep that in mind.

Love tip number 3, actually I also discuss it in my latest video. Also, I actually stopped reading and only listen to audio books. It's great way to compensate for a busy traveler's schedule and I can do it "on the go" even while driving. Thanks for the tips and keep up the good quality!
One thing that helped(s) me with wanting to read, a tip from a non-reader I know 😂, is to read books that movies were based off of. I had watched The Hitchhiker Guide To the Galaxy, with Martin Freeman in it, and, sometime around I decided to listen to an audiobook of it from a great youtube channel called Now Read This. His voice definitely fits the writing style perfectly and the characters come to life from his narration. I really enjoyed that book!
thank you. awesome tips. they're deeper than they seem. lots of relevance between dopamine and goal achieving mechanism, linking neurons, building stronger habits, eliminating procrastination etc. keep up the good work. subbed!.

I think these tips will actually help me get into more of a groove to develop a reading habit. Thank you for the advice.
i made it a habit more than 4 years ago of at least reading a couple of pages each in English, French , German , Maltese and the bible. it is really enjoyable if you do it in a relaxed way as a workout without stress, without haste, without over emphasizing on vocabulary searching . it helps me calm down. last year i finished reading 3 novels in French, 1 in Italian, 1 in German and a couple of books in english and maltese , just by being consistent in reading a few pages from each language a day. do not waste too much time on vocabulary searching , you will meet words you do not understand the more you read.
I read like a maniac for more than a dozen years than I stopped. Now I can’t put my mind into reading a whole page. These tips look interesting and easily applicable. Thank you.

Thank you for posting this! My issue is not that I don't like reading but rather that I can't concentrate and retain the information. This makes me overwhelmed before I even start reading. I start reading and all of a sudden, I'm thinking about the clothes I left in the dryer. This even happens with audiobooks.
This is a really high quality video for such a low sub count
I found that reading a very simple, easy to read book helps because you don't need to focus that hard. It helps you learn to enjoy reading because you find it easier to follow and pay attention. Then move on to more complex books.
Thanks I really needed this video. Tomorrow onwards I'll start this

Something else to include: The most important tip I ever got to becoming a better reader.... was literally to just sit down and FORCE yourself to read. And to do this for HOURS upon DAYS. To do this without speeding through it and just trying your best to comprehend it, even if you're SUPER SUPER SUPER ADHD and cannot concentrate or focus at all. Eventually you will get to this weird point, in my experience, where you understand it, and then suddenly you enjoy reading? It's strange.

I had some learning problems too in high-school People had to repeat themselves cause I couldn't understand what they were saying. But hey its never too late to learn anything. It's hard but you have to push yourself. I thought I would never finish high-school and even many thought as well but I pushed through it, analysed every single word even searched the meaning up in the Internet. By the end of 2019 I graduated and passed all my subjects with b's and A's. Don't worry kiddo you'll get there, just take ur time reading. Even have people next to you to help its no biggie and it's worth it. don't worry about what the other kids ethier say cause there not gonna help. I use to got teased alot for having a assistant teacher around with me even when I was in the final year of school, but I still kept my head down and worked hard. I even made friends with those teachers that helped and gave me alot life tips and advises. Now I'm reading my 30th book julius ceasers commentary on the gallic wars. Pretty wierd how I got here but I'm proud of what I did to reach this. Its all about ur mindset, just got to be positive all the time, if you doubt alot don't because doubt kills.
