Sinhgad is the most Historical and one of the most important fort in Maharashtra, it's located about 40km from Pune City.
It is well connected with local transport. you can visit directly by vehicle or by 3km trek route.
If travelling by local transport then get down at Pune station and catch any bus going to swargate, from swargate catch bus no 50 for Sinhgad fort from natraj bus stand.
If you want to visit directly to fort you can get Jeep facility once you reach near last bus stop, Jeep driver will come inside the bus and ask if anyone want to come by Jeep, its sharing Jeep which charges Rs 70/- per person.
