How To Raising Millions of Free Range Chicken For Eggs and Meat - Chicken Farming - Meat Factory

Ғылым және технология

Free range denotes a method of farming husbandry where the animals, for at least part of the day, can roam freely outdoors, rather than being confined in an enclosure for 24 hours each day. Free range may apply to meat, eggs or dairy farming.
Around 98 percent of all chickens farmed for their eggs live on factory farms, with no access at all to the outdoors. Most spend their entire lives in small cages alongside several other birds with each allotted space the size of an iPad to live in. Fewer than two percent of hens are kept on free-range farms which, as we have seen in video.
Watch ‘free-range’ and ‘cage-free’ and imagine the birds are roaming across wide open pastures or prairies, enjoying a happy, natural existence.

People are so happy to see farms that function like this but don’t think about how extremely expensive these conditions are to maintain. MOST of the time the difference in a humane and inhumane farm is financial stability. Support your local farms people

farms actually not owned by 1-2 people, they share their stock to people that want invest to farms. So they gain capital running farms. If local farms smart, they should try their method like getting investor to expand their farms like on this video

Absolutely, you've made a crucial point. The financial aspect of maintaining humane, free-range farming practices is significant, and it's something that often gets overlooked in the conversation about sustainable and ethical farming. Supporting local farms is indeed a vital step towards promoting animal welfare and ensuring that farmers can afford to provide these better conditions. It's a collective effort that can lead to a more humane and sustainable agricultural industry. Thank you for highlighting the importance of supporting local farms!

I'm an elderly lady who grew up on a farm and all the animals were outside most of the day. Not sure why they ever changed and everything became caged/indoor. So glad everything is returning to nature's way. All animals should be treated humanely whether for consumption or our pets. Would love to visit Noal Farms one day.

I love seeing this! I have a large backyard and garden with a pond and 5,000 sq ft of wildflowers (nearly 1 acre in total) and just put a coop and range back there with 6 hens. They have a great life, get to range around the garden and yard and drink from the pond and they are only used for eggs, I get 6 most days. A happy hen makes better food.

One of them was left, he was sad without his other partners so we released him into the river. I hope hes ok. I miss you, Vincent, Beavis, Danny, daffy, Velma, Phil and jameson jackinson the 3rd 😥

I wish you would research that there are different breeds of chicken and they all mature at different rates and why some over others are chosen for their need. Also gmo is not the big bad wolf and it’s only produced bad things rarely depending on the person using it. A non gmo chicken can also mean it was able to live its entire life without being treated for any illnesses, injuries, etc for example. The farming industry is suffering and without the support they HAVE to subject their work and care to less than favorable conditions. These happy chickens are expensive af yo care for to keep that way. Please stop

People are so happy to see farms that function like this but don’t think about how extremely expensive these conditions are to maintain. MOST of the time the diI'm an elderly lady who grew up on a farm and all the animals were outside most of the day. Not sure why they ever changed and everything became caged/indoor. So glad everything is returning to nature's way. All animals should be treated humanely whether for consumption or our pets. fference in a humane and inhumane farm is financial stability. Support your local farms people
