Do you know if one would need a filter if you are going to use the quick connect hose and how would you get a filter connected with that special quick connector? Thanks

The heater has 2 tanks what do you do with second tank connection

do you need gas tape for the connection to tank and can you not use a filter and also the high heat only works with two 1 lb tanks so do you need 2 20lb tanks conected both sides for the high heat setting? and also if you have two 1 lb tanks connected will it draw from both tanks for low and middle heat or is the right side stank strrictly for when you use high heat so if you didnt use high heat would the two tanks make you last longer on low or middle heat with two tanks rather than just one 1lb tank connected?

Fuel filter? Am i supposed to buy one? Do i have to have it?

Brand new everything and mine will only run off 1lb tanks perfectly but gas pressure seems to high on 20lb with same setup, lines super pressurized but no gas is really coming out to feed pilot, tried bleeding pressure off and opening valve very slowly only 1/4 turn. same problems. have half full tank so doubt its really high over pressure. battle anything like this?

Add a regulator in the connection may help

My my heater won't hook to my 20 lbs tank the fitting is way to small ?

I had a similar issue, but found by watching this video that I needed to turn the fitting counter-clockwise (Lefty-Lucy) to attach to the propane tank.
