Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Putting a thrown track back on the E50 mini excavator. Each brand of equipment releases the track tension in a slightly different way but they are all pretty similar.

Haha! I've never seen tracks that clean and I swear there's 30 min of wrestling with the track missing. Thanks Dirt Ninja! We always spin the track with the pry bars stuck in and hope nobody's bowels get spilled. Next time I'll try a more chilled safe approach.

If you are alone a 2" yellow ratchet strap is handy to pull the track over the idler wheel. Just be careful not to roll the track too far ahead and snap the strap.

Let way more grease out. Push the idler wheel in more with your bucket. Then keep your bucket to the outside then lift and turn into it. Works everytime.

I put a chain around top of track 2' behind idler. hook up a come along off blade edge on the opposite side of that track. Tighten up and spin track. Once it gets to the point where cable is getting tight, stop, loosen bring the come along down under the blade assembly and tighten back up, this allows you to keep side pressure on the track so you can keep idler in the groove as you advance. One person can do it pretty easily. Probably wont work so well with newer tracks but if they are stretched a bit you usually have enough play in them.

Awesome man, thanks! You are the Ninja!! I'm going to learn a lot, I'm about to order my new machine and start my new video series of me learning how to use it!! (You will be the main instructor :) (I'm sure there will be a lot of laughs on me, but that's ok, I can handle it) . Thanks for all the help too on checking out machines. I almost went with the cat 305, but after a few more comparisons I think my best pick is still a bobcat (a lot of different reasons went into the decision), but after you suggested it I did go and check out a 304 and 305 cat(s). Even had a heck of a price negotiated... Thank you! Kapper

Thankyou for your education videos - just come back from a job in a very remote location - ( Scottish equivalent of deep Alaska! ) where I had to do a quick checkover on all the machines - 2 with rubber tracks. So I've gleaned some useful tips - quicker than after reading the books which I always do where available. BUT but but, Why didn't you clean the dirt from around that inspection panel hole before you started. I HATE getting down & dirty on these jobs - nothing worse than gritty STICKY grease! >> Could someone PLEASE make a video on how to wipe off sticky grease from your fingers & tools !

Putting the track back on my Bobcat E35 is easy, when I was young, I ran a 245 CAT. Putting a track back on a 140,000 lb. excavator is a little more challenging.
