How to purchase a 3 DAY Transit Pass (English) in Montreal, Quebec
The Montreal Metro is a great way to get around at an affordable price. You can use the Transit pass to get from the airport to downtown. Super easy to use, enjoy. The Montreal Metros are clean and quiet. If you are from the United States and want to go to a wonderful city with clean streets and transportation Montreal is the place.

I’m going to Montreal in September. I use to live in laval and when I did. Montreal didn’t have the fare zones as far as I can remember. Now I’m really confused
Thanks for this video. I take it I can buy the pass in advance and the 3 day timer counts down from the first time its scanned/activated? From STM: This transit fare is valid for three consecutive days from the time it is validated. Example: validation at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, expiry 11:59 p.m. on Thursday.

Where in the airport can you buy transit/metro passes?
I was reading opus cards are accepted in Montreal an Quebec City. Do you know if I get a weekly pass, will it work in both cities?

no it wont... you will need to have a different one but it works the same way.

May this 3 day STM pass be used to ride Metro to stations in Longeuil or Laval, which have their own transit systems? And re enter to return to Montreal? Any validity on Longeuil or Laval transit, or RTM EXO commuter trains?

That I do not know. The commuter trains have their own ticket system.

Anyone wondering about this in 2022, the STM now uses a zone fare system. You can ride the metro, bus, and EXO trains anywhere all on one fare. You need a Zone A pass for the island of Montreal and Zone AB for Longueil and Laval.
So the passes work on the bus as well or no?
