Pruning is an art. It really is.
You listen to the people that live in the North East that talk fast, you get a lot of information in a short amount of time. It takes us twice as long here in the High Plains to say the same thing as people in the North East because we talk much slower. Ha Ha love it!
I love to see Tuck pull and eat his own carrots!!
Great having you back
Thanks James and Tuck. Your instructions are clear, concise and entertaining. I put woodchips down last summer and 6 weeks ago I planted my first bareroot fruit trees. Plum, apple, peach and nectarine. My mouth is watering already! Yum!
Prigioni is back! Better than ever!

So glad to have you and Tuck back! Looking forward to seeing more videos!
I love your positivity and enthusiasm!
great to have u back James and tuck
I'm glad you mentioned that we could treat a peach tree as if it were a miniature by pruning lower. Their on a steep slope which is quite a challenge to prune.
Great to see you and Tuck back! Looking forward to seeing what you have planned for the food forest!😁
I’m glad you are back and doing well. I’ve been praying for you and Tuck. You have been missed. 😊
Yay, James and Tuck are back! ❤️🍒🍎❤️
Welcome back! So happy you hear you again
I've got a 3 year old peach that I've been scared to prune, I finally started looking into the correct pruning process and after several videos (many from Universities, and colleges) I still felt like I had no idea. They had the same verbal information as this video, but awful long focus shots, and poorly framed examples. I just wanted to thank you for having amazing shots of EXACTLY what I should be looking for when selecting good branches, and showing me what was meant by many of the terms ('outward bud' , etc). I think I've finally got the confidence to get my peach on the right track!
Beautiful job on that older peach tree, James! Pruning can be a bit intimidating, but is so rewarding! I've learned so much from you in the few short months that I've been watching your videos. Your knowledge and enthusiasm for sharing it are inspirational. I have built and grown several things because of your encouragement. Thank you for what you're doing for others!
Welcome back you and Tuck. Have missed both. Love your videos.
Thanks James! Glad you are back!!
Welcome back James! Glad to hear update from you.
I thought you were gone for good! Very thankful you're both back.❤️🐶🌿
So lovely to see you again! We're in autumn, but my summer garden has been extremely productive thanks to all the inspiration of your videos last season. I'll be enjoying your summer garden vicariously as we go through our southern hemisphere sleep.
Glad you and tuck are back. Love your enthusiasm. I retired this winter. You are one of the people that has motivated me to try and grow food. I have always grown a lot of flowers but not food.
Happy to see you& Tuck back🌱🌹🐞🐝
❤️ Great to have you two back!

Happy to see you both back 😊💚💚💚
Yeah your back neighbor. Tells us what plants you lost this yr I’m in S Jersey and managed to keep spinach and some small kale alive outside. Plants were in raised bed in legs with a cover on it, that’s it. With -9 once or twice I’m surprised. Good to see Tuck and you. Stay safe and keep growing. 👍🏻❤️💪🏻🖖🏻🐾🐾🐾🌱🌷

I like your videos I have watched many, have not done well with peach trees here in Northeast Oklahoma disease usually gets them if the frost doesn't get the blossoms. I sprayed the tree with dormant oil in the winter but if you can imagine this year the peaches formed and the insects ate every single one didn't get one Peach. It seems one has to use so many chemicals at least in this area
Great to see you and Tuck back!! Great video with great info, thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!! Much love for Tuck❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great info Thanks James. Good to see you and Tuck. Happy Spring.
James I'm glad you're back. This is the exact video I needed as I just purchased a few peach tree's.
Happy to see you back James, and Tuck. ❤️ Looking forward to the 2019 growing season with you.
Incredible how much trimming is necessary for a properly producing structure. Never thought about this before. Love what I learn from your videos and Tuck!
Just like trees and other plants, I think we all need winter as a time of rest and renewal. Glad to see you back. So ready for a new growing season.
Thanks James for sharing your knowledge and energy. You really have inspired me to get going in my own garden! Welcome back and many blessings to you.

Tuck! And JP of course! Guess we'll have to call off the search party.
It's nice to see you and Tuck again. You really helped me out with this new video. I had pruned some of my fruit trees last week, mostly nectarines and pears. After watching your aggressive trimming I decided to hit them again today and they look much better. Thanks.

Fantastic video! Best one I watched. To the point and very helpful how you do one branch at a time which makes it easy to follow. Great explanations and visuals about the reasons to keep trees taller or shorter. I have so much more confidence now - I think I can prune my two year olds for the first time! Thank you!
Nice to revisit this video a year after I first started pruning mine with this method. They are doing great. Thanks!
Welcome back. Always loving your work.
Glad to see you're back!!
