Did U find the trimmer version?

My garage door chain popped out (didn't break, just lose screw). After reconnecting it, the door went out of sync/adjustment. You video saved my day (and probably $200 lol). BIG Thank You !!

Hello, I have a further question to ask. I have adjusted the door to hit the garage floor while it was really sunny outside. However, when I tried to pump the down arrow key a few clicks trying to reduce the slits of light coming in due to the uneven flatness of the garage, this action eventually gave me problems. Under normal closing of the door it reopens as soon as it hits the ground. It probably triggers the safety function thinking that it hits something. Is there anything I can do under this circumstances? Thanks in advance for any help you may give.

If a standard U shape one won't work, you can try a rubber blade garage door seal. You can cut them to fit the shape of the floor.

I just researched on the rubber blade you mentioned, I found a 3M product "16.5Ft/3M Universal Garage Door Rubber Threshold Strip, Weatherproof Seal Strip " from Amazon". I am quite sure this one would work and it also has added advantages of stopping leaves, debris from entering the garage. What a neat product. This world is so much more beautiful with people like you helping out others without even knowing who you are helping with. I am smiling while typing, YOU are a good man!!!!

My original problem is the door will not automatically close when you push the wall button, or the remote in my car. You have to push and hold down the wall button in the garage to completely close the door. If I just press and try to release the wall button the door won't close...it's as if something is obstructing it, and the lights flash continually. If I use your method here in the video, do you think this will address the problem? When the door is completely closed, there is a gap on the right side, as if the ground is uneven, or maybe the door is messed up? Thank you!

That sounds like a safety sensor issue. Make sure the sensors near the ground on each side are lined up. It’s common for the sensor to get bumped or kicked and the garage door opener thinks there is something in the way and reverses the closing door.

Our door goes up and slides back down about 6 inches - the opener will take it back up - this will happen about 7 times then it will stop . Can I adjust this ? It started when a guy came out for something and he said there was to much tension on the rod on ceiling .

Carefully! Use the rope pull to disconnect the garage door from the garage opener carriage/traveler. If the garage door starts going down/closing, you probably need your torsion spring replaced or adjusted. Just be very careful doing this as the door could fall hard if the spring is broken or very weak. If the torsion spring is working right, the garage door will stay up on it's own until it's pulled down.

how to make go up or down slowly? I can't figure that out.

Does it have something like a dial you can turn? If so, one is for closing and the other for opening, turn them until they close/open the correct amount.

Why does the trolley jump when it starts closing initially? Mine does that too and it is so annoying

I believe that is the weight of the door moving from the two side tracks (runners) to the garage door. The belt/chain rail can compress under that weight.

Weight of the door moving to the garage door ? Sorry I don’t quite get it. Is there a way to fix it and is it a safety issue ?
