    The RF is probably more practical and quieter, but the roadster simply looks better to me. I think I'd have to go with that. But TBH, if i were to buy another MX-5, it would be an NC with PRHT.

    Great video. Ty. Ours does not have either. The little cap does not come off either. When I try to turn the entire faucet, something is holding it. How the heck do I get the handle off?

    Thanks for the video! Very informative and helpful. On the same vehicle I also have a loose camshaft pulley. Any thoughts on how to tighten them? As shown in this video, not much room to get a tool to the front of the pulley. Thanks.

    Verify that you have the two pieces fully back together. Both clips must be fully engaged. Than check the O-ring for any cuts, use a little soapy water on it, insert it back in.

    Call it an ND3 because of all the significant changes. LED front headlights / LED tail lights / asymmetrical differential / completely new infotainment system with completely new wiring / connectors. The new subtle on center steering feel they reprogrammed into the steering rack. Its about $8500 more expensive then in March of 2017 when I bought my 2016 ND1 Club soft top with the Brembo / BBS package. I talked to a local Mazda dealer & ordered my exact replacement except now besides all those new updates its also the updated engine / Kinetic Posture Control / plus heated Recarro seats ( my 2016 has the cloth seats with no heat ). Supposed to come sometime in July. So I'll be selling my 2016 Club sometime soon if things work out like I planned. Otherwise keeping my 2016 will be plan B.

  • @Accost2u

    The ND has always had LED headlights and taillights. The only change is to the turn signals, DRLs and reverse lights. But honestly I don’t care for the fake vents that now exist bc they moved things around.

  • @Killobyte

    If you have water coming into the interior, not draining out the bottom drain tube, try running a zip tie threw the drain hole. That should push out any debris clogging the tube.

    I've read that the whole entertainment operating system (not sure what is the proper way to call it) is different, and the parts are not compatible between new one and older cars, so I think calling it ND3 is justifiable. The new name will help if you want to look up parts in the future.

    I also have a 2016 Club and have been tempted to sell it and buy the new one basically for the increase in horsepower. I wonder if the extra 26 hp make a noticeable difference. I would probably have to spend an extra $25,000 for those 26 hp.

    Where do you go to get a custom alignment? I'm trying to also get the FM specs but all alignment/tire shops are refusing to do it. One guy said it will be a huge pain in the ass and was saying how just aligning the front two wheels will cost me $200.

  • @Killobyte
    @Killobyte17 күн бұрын

    A lot of alignment places just want to adjust toe and call it good. Find a local car/race club and someone should know of a good alignment shop.

    I had a Kia Optima that was a GDI and I wasn't aware at the time that this needed to be done. I had 130,000 miles on it and it got the same mileage as when it was brand new and the power was still there. Never a rough running engine or anything like is being discussed. I traded it on a Mazda CX-5 and this cleaning is all I'm hearing about. Every time I go for an oil change the dealer wants to sell me a induction cleaning for $160. So now I am trying to learn.

    Thanks I will try this but I will try using "Dry teflon" lubricant in spray. pretty much i would disconnect the cables and spray the teflon all the way in the cable until it gets to the cabin and also on bushing contact surfaces, the idea is that this wont be catching dirt or dust in it. hopefully fixing this

    Dear Sir, I spent 10 hours on the dishwasher, putting salt in, washed the filter, connected it from one plug to another, put in vinegar, baking soda, various other cleaning agents... and of course nothing helped, the next step was either call service or wash dishes by hand (I'd rather commit suicide) until I saw your video and it's work 👍 I am infinitely grateful to you. You are a savior.
