@@BiblicalStudiesandReviews I made this remark because it seems you get fewer views when the subject is about NT Greek. It would be good to hear you reading a few verses in Greek. I'd like your viewers to pay particular attention to the way the native speaker pronounces such words as Θεός, συγχέω and Μωϋσῆς. Notice the smooth transition from one vowel sound into the next one. He does not insert a short pause of silence between ε and ο; ε and ω; ω and ϋ. Those who have learnt the Erasmian pronunciation tend to pause between the vowels and it is annoying for native Greek-speakers to hear this. Even those who decide to adopt Modern Greek pronunciation still retain this cacophonous habit. They are taught to insert a pause because εο; εω; and ωϋ are not regarded as true diphthongs. If you are interested to learn more about this, see my video: The Cacophony of a Big Hiatus or How Not to Sound Greek -- Koine Klingon !

The Erasmian pronunciation is acceptable, but the modern pronunciation could be closer to the original. There's nothing to be dogmatic about. I find myself going back and forth. Some words I say in the Erasmian some in modern. 😆
