How to project text on a curved surface in Rhinoceros 3D
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this video we will use the command UV curve to apply a text on a curved surface. This method allows you to apply any flat curve on an object following its surface. It works in rhino 7 but also in previous version such as rhino 6 and rhino 5.
This method is particularly usefull if you want to engrave text or a logo on your 3D model.

Yea, curved objects, there are houndreds of clips showing how to do this. But not how to add text to a simple box you just created in Rhino. The stupidity...
Thanks a lot!!!! Youre a lifesaver
well done mate Thanks
Thanks for your help
I did learn some new things with regards to uv curves in Rhino. You might want to think about the fact that you cannot mold a plastic part with the debossed logo created with an offset to the normals of the surface. Draft angle on the logo surfaces and part removal from the injection molded tooling would need to be considered for a real plastic part.
Does any one know such tool for fusion 360 or any Autodesk Software?
