I have spent ages trying to sort out my somfy blinds.Was about to chuck it in the bin. I now discover all the other helpful or [totally useless] videos were a waste of time. In fact following them always put me on the wrong road. The instructions here are very easy / clear cut - and it works. Honestly this product is fantastic - JUST NEEDED CLEAR BLooDY INSTRUCTIONS. PLEASE DELETE ALL THE OTHER UNHELPFUL SOMFY VIDEOS AND JUST KEEP THIS.

Please help me solve this problem.

i did all this but the blind stops halfway down, only goes up if i press the remote twice. and then pressing down the blind only comes down quarter way. again press up twice, goes up then it jogs at the top.

What if the blind does not respond at all when I simultaneously press the up and down button? In fact, I can't get the blind to respond to anything I do. Can you give me some advice?

try to replace the battery in the remote. The motor may be dead. last resort purchase a new remote.

one last thing you can try is to get a pin - press and hold the programming button in the back of the remote. If the shade jogs - continue with programming kzread.info/dash/bejne/hYVrz5iadsnTf7Q.html

I have one remote that works that came with. The two I purchased as back up do not work at all. I have tried all steps . Now what?

My blind is stuck inside the pelmet how can I unroll it

Step 3 did not work for me, the shade still not rolled up to the top.

Lucy Chen have you managed to get any feed back i see your reply was one year ago, and i recently installed them and having trouble changing which direction does what.

Is the same process to add a new controler?

No, to add a new controller to a blind that has already been programmed press the program button on the existing handset (the blind will jog), then press the program button on your new handset (blind will jog again). Job done.

@@fegodoy In this case I would locate the program button on your motor (they vary depending on the motor you have), press and hold for about 1 second and the blind should jog. Then press the program button on your new handset (the blind will jog again) and you should be good to go. If the settings have gotten in a muddle then I would suggest a full reset and then start again. Here's a video on how to do a full reset: kzread.info/dash/bejne/e3mC06ywj9q2mZs.html

I am still having problems with step 2 it keeps going in the wrong direction can you please advise

to change the direction press and hold the middle my button until the shade jogs. Then proceed with programing.

Make sure all your batteries are charged or it may not take commands-

This would be better if the person was also instructing you verbally.

If a motor is stopping

Step 3 no work,after complete step 2 the motor is moving up and down only 5 to 6 cm

my blind did not move up ordown when i press the button what should i do.i did the three second method still not working?

This video is difficult to follow. Why don't you have someone talking over it also? The steps are not clear.

Write down the steps, using the pause so that you have time between steps. I wrote in two columns, left for instruction, right for expected outcome. I numbered the steps 1, 1.1, 2, 2.1, 2.2, 3, 3.1, 3.2 etc. This helped my aging brain.

These blinds are constant trouble. Don't buy unless you want to spend your weekends working on them.

I've been trying to set them right since yesterday!! I am only able to set 2 of the 3..so blinds 1, 3 work but NOT 2, and i put a new solar panel and charged the batteries, still not working!! Hours wasted? I wish I had somebody I can blame,so I could BREAK THEIR BLIPPIN FACE!! Anyone has a video that can help? Ive tried a few already

@@chicogarcia6273 make sure to reset the motor first. kzread.info/dash/bejne/fpVts7eAqrungJM.html Also cut the power to the other motors while you program motor 2 for example. The instructions that come with the remote are a bad joke!
