How to program a Panamax / Furman (M4315) Pro for Home Theater Usage

Ғылым және технология

A step by stem cradle to grave guide on how to take a used Panamax M4315 Pro from eBay and reconfigure it to do anything you need/want at home.
Of all products I had looked at this was the most perfect solution as it has a DC 12v Trigger Input and all 8 outlets can be individually programed and toggled according to my needs.
As a bonus it has great surge protection, noise isolation, can be found dirt cheap, and with the right knowledge can even be integrated into home automation.
If you prefer to buy one new, they can be found on Amazon:

Do you think this would be overkill just for 2 Crown amps used for subs?

You can program any outlet for always on or trigger, your choice. I have gone another whole level now and do not use the 12v trigger anymore, but instead have my home automation system sending the telnet commands to turn outlets on and off. I'd post a video but its way too niche for anybody lol.

Any luck on a hard reset of the Bluebolt card. I may have a bad one. It will not allow me to connect. I see the IP address but it will not talk. Wondering if there is another reset method.

@@gopack47 Hard reset should give you local control, but once it goes to the internet, it checks in for cloud stuff. As a used unit it may very well still be registered to the old owner. I had two like this and had to email support, I sent them proof of ownership and they transferred ti to me. One of them started to go crazy and start turning off/on so I think I got a bad unit (not the card) I setup automation using Telnet controls rather than the cloud stuff, so I can block internet access for them if wanted. All in all working well, pretty cool units that can do a lot depending on how techy you are and your use case. Connecting to the cloud atleast once was good as it did a firmware update for them. I think this also updated some of the HTTP hosting to make it a bit more compatible with modern browsers.

OK. I have a panamax unit like the one in the video. I did the 10 second reset. The IP address it shows on the front is 172.24.61.156. My network is 168.168.1.xxx, so I was expecting a 168.xx type number. I cannot log into this 172.xx number, to reset it, so what do I do?
