This video was soooo helpful!!! We are renting a house, but the garage door opener that was in the house did not work (not even the same brand!), so a year and a half later I finally bought some remotes and was determined to program them. Thanks to this video I now have 2 working garage door opener remotes! I also have 2 dogs that escaped during the process (one just recovering from a leg amputation last week), my life is hectic! But I am a happy lady!!!

Worked for me. Programmed the first remote, used the jumper to program the second.

so what if you don't have the "Jumper" device? can'y you program the second remote as the first? If not, this is a serious design flaw built in by the manufacturer as a way to sell jumpers

No reason not to be as easy as Liftmaster.. Way screwed up by this manufacturer.. Would never by Marantec but the damn builder put them in so now I am stuck with them for a while..

What if one button on the remote doesn't work and the others do? I just have to re-program one button. The outside keypad works and the inside wall-mounted unit works too.

I lost my old remote. How would I program a new remote without the old one and the jumper?

I haven't seen one video on the Internet on how to program a brand-new one of these if you don't have an old one because it was lost. Is there any information on how to program a new one alone?
