Dude, I'm delighted that you made this content available, it is very helpful, but you FLY through things, and if you're trying to follow along, it's very difficult to do what you say. By the time we've done it, you're already two steps ahead. If you find it convenient to do this instruction again, please count for at least 1 to 2 seconds between each instruction so that we can follow along. Thanks!

A step that seems to be skipped by many is that you need to be in VFO mode not Memory mode. If the frequency has a number next to it you need to hit the orange VFO/MR button and then you can type in frequencies.

Thanks for this instructional video. I got my brother interested in amateur radio and to get his license. He died suddenly in 2018 and I got his boxes of these types of hand held radios. I am not sure why he had so darn many. I get overwhelmed and it's nice to see this video on these for programming. I am not used to these. I am much more familiar with other brand hand helds. Anyway, thanks for the video I can refer back to when I decide to try again.

Like one frequency to just listen to what they are saying and one channel to send to other radio in a different frequency. With out having to press A/B. Like stay on frequency B but when someone talks on frequency A it stops B then when they are done you can continue on B?

Given that this isn't a video on how to program NOAA into your radio that doesn't surprise me. That is beyond the scope of this video. But, you probably have a radio that is locked to the ham frequencies. Most times you can open it up by simply doing a full reset. Menu 40, Reset All. If that doesn't work, try holding down the Moni, PTT, and VFO buttons while turning on the radio. You should see "factory" come up on the screen and it will be unlocked to more frequencies that include NOAA. But technically that is illegal so do it at your own risk. I accept no liability. And for the love of god, don't ever transmit there!

Thanks for watching. While there's nothing I can directly do to this video as I've already made it, you can control the playback speed of a video. Hover your mouse over the video. Hit the gear at the bottom right hand side and chose "playback speed". Then you can chose how fast it plays back. For example, chose .5 and it will playback at 50% speed. It makes some adjustments to the audio too so it doesn't sound quite as weird as typical videos that are slowed down. Hope that helps.
