In this vid: A quick show of how to use the midi and audio output of MIDI Guitar inside Garageband.
Via the patch "External MIDI Output", a virtual midi port is created which is listened to automatically by Garageband.
Garageband can also "listen" to MIDI Guitar's audio via the Inter App Audio protocol.

Hi how can we output midi from iOS to daw
this is cool but ... even though I selected my vst2 and vst3 folders it does not show up in Ableton live 11 and did not create a desktop icon for stand alone use . I was able to find it to run as stand alone to test it lots of latency i5 processor and 32 gigs of ram so idk it is in cakewalk as a VST2 no 3 to be found anyway so I don't know and judging from the fact the most recent video here is 4 years old the developers must have given up on it so will not be purchasing to bad because seems like has lots of potential

the "mix" knob in the interface balances guiat and synth. If you can not delte the guitarsignal, then your audio interface has a direct monitoring which you have to disable. mostly that is a mix knob on the front panel of your interface.
Audio kit Digital D1 was just released as a Auv3 plugin days ago. It seemed to work extremely well until 11am eastern time today. MG keeps shutting down everytime i try loading the D1 Auv3. Ipad 6th gen.. 12.3.1

HI Laurence, we allready discussed this with users on jamosapien.com. It is D1 itself that is unstable. Users reported D1 au crashing in all hosts.

I use Midi Guitar 2 on my IMac and it is worth every cent. But to be honest, I will wait for a sale before I will do the inapp purchases for IPad . Could be cheaper. Or maybe a bonus for user of desktop version?

@@homestevehome we think $30 (exc. VAT) for guitar rig & midi output functionality is a good bargain. The new AU support is an optional IAP: the number of AU synths is modest, but continuously growing. Primer (free) and Sunrizer are examples of good working AU synths allready. Apple does not allow dealings outside of their appstore, so we can't offer any bundling with the desktopversion.
