How To Process Drum Breaks | All You NEED To Know | Ableton Live 11

In this video I show you how to slice drum breaks to Ableton's drum rack, create you own tailor made drum rack preset specifically for breaks, extract the break groove into the groove pool, apply the groove to other tracks in your project and parallel process your drums for extra high end crunch.
It's a complete guide from start to finish, including the essential history of drum breaks. Hope you enjoy this tutorial and if you do, remember to...

Absolute gold! These are the pro tips that really get the mix to quality! If you want to preserve the full sound of the samples, you should turn off Snapping on Simpler when creating the preset (or even add another Macro).

Oh yeah. Technically drums aren't really copyright anyway but this makes it extra safe to use. Glad you enjoyed the video. 😊

Excellent tutorial on slicing breaks. I produce drum and Bass, and was in need of a straight forward look on Breakbeat processing and fundamental groove creation. Well done, and many thanks . Have a great day! -Justin. Innovative Records
