I've been trying to print to the edge all day. Frustrating. Then I find out that my printer does not have the capability to do this. So, it'll never happen, no matter what I try. Physically cannot tell the printer that I am using a larger sheet of paper, to con it into printing over the edge of A4.

It worked for me for the most part I had to set margins to zero and put the paper on my printer to go thru the side paper and it printer perfectly

Is there a way to just make Word print to the edge without having to resize the page? When I try to do this the text box resizes with the page, which I do NOT want. I would much rather be able to just not resize the page at all and have Word understand that I want the entire document printed, including what's on the edges. Is there a way to do this? Why is superimposing a white margin the default? If I wanted a margin around the edges I would make it that way before printing it. This is NOT user-friendly at all.

This depends on what printer you have. If you only have a basic printer, then this is not applicable.
