you can also use Reynold's freezer paper. The waxy coating sticks to fabric if you iron it onto the fabric, and it holds and peels off nicely after printing. and it's reusable for a few times at least. This is what I use instead of buying sticky paper. It's an old quilter's trick. There are plenty of video tutorials on how to do it.

depends on your printer. My Epson laser printer ink holds okay through gentle washing. It eventually fades a bit, but for how I used it I don't mind the bit of fading.

Good question Jane and I am not talented enough to figure out how to explain it to you w/o pictures. Think of it as a puzzle you need to solve. Each model prints on the paper in own way. May print on backside and not the top, and may begin printing on the bottom of paper. Be glad don't have to figure out printing on both sides of paper.
