How to determine the cost of materials and labor
How to set a minimum charge per linear foot
How to use Google Earth and Google Maps to measure your jobs
How to factor in additional costs, such as travel time and insurance
By following Brett's tips, you can ensure that you are pricing your gutter cleaning jobs competitively and profitably.
Here are some additional tips for pricing your gutter cleaning jobs:
Do your research. Before you set your prices, take some time to research what other gutter cleaning companies in your area are charging. This will give you a good starting point for your own pricing.
Consider the size and complexity of the job. The more time and labor it takes to clean a gutter, the more you should charge.
Factor in additional costs. In addition to the cost of materials and labor, you may also need to factor in additional costs, such as travel time, insurance, and equipment rental.
Be flexible. Be prepared to negotiate on price, especially if you are dealing with a large job or a repeat customer.
By following these tips, you can ensure that you are pricing your gutter cleaning jobs fairly and competitively.

Do you include the sales tax in the tier price? Or tell the customer $199 plus tax? Or just add tax to invoice and most customers understand that.. thanks!

Would you ask for a deposit when scheduling gutter guard installation and you don’t have the materials/tools yet?

How do you deal with the customer asking about the pricing on materials? My experience is the customer wants to know how much materials cost and some even insist they purchase material themselves.

@@gypsysundrop I don’t do that. It opens up a whole can of worms. Also that means this customer does not see the value in your and your company and only cares about price. I’d work in providing more value on the front end
