I have damaged, high porosity hair and I love your suggestion about using diluted ACV. I tried it last night in the shower, then followed up with a really moisturizing leave-in & a high humidity gel with glycerin. I honestly have never loved my waves/curls more or seen them without frizz! Thank you so much! I plan on following up with ACV when needed and I’m excited to enjoy my waves/curls as I heal my hair.

Good info! I have fine high porosity hair and I find that anytime it’s not clumped together in like twists or such, it gets dry. Loveeee the tie your hair down after moisturizing. Will try!

If you live in the humid south, glycerin can be a ticking frizz bomb. I have to check the due point for the day before I can use glycerin in the winter and in the summer.

Do you know anything about knots? My hair knots so easily. I watched greenbeauty video and she said stretching your hair helps but even if my hair is stretched it knots. I put twist in my hair and it's been almost 6 weeks and I take my twist out throughout the week and retwist. Still I find knots when taking out those twist. I feel like that's probably why I'm not retaining length

Hi there! I’ve noticed that keeping my ends free causes more knots. When my hair is in twists & I tuck away the ends (like wearing the twists in a bun), then I have less knots. Will be a trial & error to see what works best. I hope that helps 💕

I have extremely high porosity hair too and I notice this as well when I redo my braids in between washes. I think a lot of my problem was that my hair either wasn’t moisturized enough when I put the braids in or I waited too long and let my hair get too dry before I redid the braids. The dryer my hair is the more it knots. I try to go od on leave in and moisturizing oil when I rebraid and that helps.
