Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

How to Pour a Concrete Driveway by Sciulli Concrete. Procedure is very similar for concrete patios, sidewalks, stairs, steps or pool deck. This demonstration shows the steps involved in pouring a concrete driveway. Sciulli Concrete made this video to help our customers visualize what we do to complete your home improvement project.
Sciulli Concrete handles all your residential concrete needs including driveways, sidewalks, patios, retaining walls and French drains -- inside and out. We do traditional concrete or exposed, and add an appealing finishing design. We also service commercial jobs such as parking lots, curbs, sidewalks and many other unique requests.

Over 30 years in business, I've poured thousands of driveways. Watching them made me remember the days of using the come along, pulling your guts out, when the chute man piles it way too high. 100 degrees and it's blowing up on you faster than you can float it down. ugh! It's the only trade in construction that won't allow you to eat a normal lunch or more than a couple minutes to rehydrate. Many have tried, but few can handle the amount of physical work. I'm retired, living the good life now, but I'll never forget the sound of that drum tumbling and the concrete sliding down the chute!

Billy Smith lol my girls father is one.....he's been doing it for 27 years now....delivery driver jobs especially UPS ain't no joke....used to haul for a meat packing plant, ridiculous what those boxes weigh....have helped my friend who's a contractor pour concrete once....yeah after that, I think I'll stick to truck/delivery driving...both equally hard jobs nonetheless....but I love being behind the wheel and meeting new people and seeing my usual customers...I'm not the home construction type of guy.

I worked masonry for 8 years from the age of 15 to 23. we dug foundations, set steel, poured slabs and everything else along with brick block and stone all in the Florida sun. A mason did it all back then. Can't say I miss those days. I still have all my tools and pour when I want to because I want to. I was really impressed how well you guys worked together and especially how well your guy worked the come a long. Nice edging and design work with the broom. Real pleasure to watch your video.

Depends on the thickness, @ 4" thick you can go 2.5 times its depth, so a 10by10 would be the biggest slab you would want, sometimes adding a center groove adds a little curb appeal

The last process at the finishing stage of concrete is an application of a white epoxy curing agent. It slows the curing process which enables its strength, durability, and retains its moisture contents for a good duration period. It cures at a slower rate. Once you wait 12-24 hours, you then apply with a water hose a slow even mist of water onto the concrete about 3 times a day for about 5 mins (breakfast, lunch, dinner lets say, for 3 days day after the pour on mon, wed, fri) and yet therefore it gives the concrete the right amount of time to harden developing a sufficient curing stage, allowing it to breath, expel and retain air and heat and contain its moisture density upon graduating to its full development process of a concrete compound to fully cure. (28-30 days curing)

kreteman777 Just poured 15.5 yards of 4.5" slump today with one helper. 20 feet of sidewalk and 30 lineal feet of driveway. Had to fill up 6x 8" tubes with concrete and finish around all of them.
