16 Minutes! This really was a big one and so much work. When I chose this rack I didn't know how much there will be to talk about. But I chose a rack where I also mess up shots and don't run out, so that it's more relateable and we have a bit of safety play and kicking involved. Thanks for watching!

I just have to say you're the best training speaker I've ever watched and listened to. The extra trouble to actually show WHERE we should hit for english, where it's anticipated to go, etc. is GREATLY helpful and appreciated.... A forever fan as well as other folks I play with in and out of the pool league... Thanks, Chase
Your videos make a lot of sense. Easy to follow and understand. Thank you sir.

man you have done another great job. I watch your videos over and over to improve my skills so thank you for doing such a great job. I know it's a lot of work but never doubt that you are making many people happy and we have improved with these videos. Thank you.
Thank you for the multiple ways and instructive placement on where to make contact on cue ball and explanation of out come on each shot and the understanding, visualization. Again thank you Mr.Sharivari for these instructional videos.
Hi sharivari! Tnx 4 teaching everyone billiards
Another hugely informative and educational video from Sharivari! Awesome work again Sharivari!

Great video and supporting graphics. I really appreciate the effort on the graphics since they make the concepts so much easier to grasp. Great stuff!
We will never know how much work you put into the video, but I found it very interesting as well as informative. Thanks for your time and talent. Please do more of these as we all benefit from such good instructional videos.

Thanks Larry, I will! (Btw this one took 25 hours.)
Finally someone is talking about the process of shot selection. Thank you. Now I just need you in my head when I play an actual game ;)
Best instructional videos out there!! My game is getting much better! Beating the guys who work at the pool hall and being able to recognise mistakes by other players definitely builds my confidence! Thanks!!
Once again, great training video and very informative. These videos are making me think about my strategy a little more when I get on the table and put them to use.
This is an awesome lesson. I have been guilty of trying to play the shots I see on tv. Obviously my skill is way lower than the pros. Thanks for helping me to see shot probability.
Your a great teacher
Thanx you very much tetcher 🤙👌
All about the options and outcome. More racks like this please. Good video

Great video Sharivari. Another consideration for hitting the 5 ball is to use right english. This would more or less "hold the cue ball" and bring it through the middle of the table so that you end on the left side on the 6. Also, for some players including myself, hitting outside (left) english on the 5 may yield a lower shotmaking probability because you have to account for deflection and also hit with speed to go around the table. It's easy to miss that shot if you don't do well with thin cuts + outside english. Using inside (right) english will allow you cut (or maybe overcut) the object ball and thus make the pocket "bigger."

This was the first thought I had too when I saw the shot - I definitely wouldn't have tried going up and down with follow because I would have risked crashing into the 7 or 9, and I wouldn't have even thought of the 4-railer
Learning alot from your lessons
Great lesson...thanks
man this is so helpful on so many level

Your videos have really improved my game... Thank you sir
I really enjoy these probabilities videos as thats usually my weakness..
This was awesome! thanks
For those curious about the math, you can multiply the prob of making the shot times the prob of getting position in order to evaluate the prob of success of the shot as a whole. This can be useful for evaluating two diff alternative shots

that is assuming equal weightage on making and positioning where as the truth is that making is far more important than positioning. So you may want to give a higher weightage to making as sharivari does as well in one of the shots he makes in the corner, don't have a simple rule, assess everything case by case as he does

If either factor is too low its a no-go even if the other is 100%.
Great lesson, great work.
Sharivari =Boss!
Thanks a lot, very helpful video with paths of white ball. Great
Great video very informative
thnx for the video n lessons! As an APA 3 I have several shots down but Shot Selection and decision making is still a challenge for me. Seeing the patterns n visualizing the path of the cue ball help lots, so that even with a miss, I know my approach was correct n I had good shape on my next shot. Just gotta keep drilling n working my game. Thnx again!
Excellent Video!

What software do you use to simulate this and put everything together/ My kid bro is starting YouTubing and I think this info would go a long way in helping him improve the quality of the content he sends out there. Thanks in advance

Thanks Ben. I am using my Samsung Galaxy S20 to record the video. And the post production is done with Adobe Photoshop for the graphics, Adobe After Effects for "special effects", and then I am putting everything together in Adobe Premiere.

@@Sharivari Thank you champ. Keep teaching us. Thanks for the technical info too. He will appreciate. He has an S8+ which I think can do a good job in recording although it takes too much space (around gigabyte per minute-long video). Anyways, ahsante sana (Thank you so much).
i like this content ,, making decisions is important ,, plz do more thanks

Good afternoon. I don't know if you could give a brief explanation in a video of the balls stuck to the rail. both glued and detached in shooting areas not very easy. greetings from coahuila mexico excellent video,
Thank you A learning Experience
I shoot pool with what I know and able to do. I weigh the options out like you did and that's where I'm at in pool until I can do more shoots. Great video it was great information 👍. Thanks
Excellent !

Great videos!!! I am really upset that we did not get to play each other in Germany this year because my vacation was cancelled. But next year or the year after when I come, I hope we can get together and play!

Thank you!
excellent exposition on pool logic and positioning! I hope to reach that level someday, however, I am still stuck on concentrating on making those shots consistently....

Well your 5 was a sure problem but I like it because these situations happen. We are not always lit up when we step up to the league so it's important to find our best shots when possible. Yesterday I was setting it up to make 2 and 3 at a time but I was on fire. That isn't always the case so it's nice you are showing safety and alternative methods
Nice video..
Very good video. Yeah im good with the high/low and the english but lately ive been hitting the rails get cheated from the pocket. And deflection from the cue ball.
Cheers!
nice video
I can respect that he showed his bad positioning. Even the pros make mistakes, but this video showed much humility, which most times is the best skill you can have in this game. Great video
