How To Play With Your Newborn (and Why You Should!)

When you think of a newborn, you're probably thinking about how cute they are and how much you just want to cuddle them. But as cute and wonderful as it is to just squish them with love, playing with them is so important to their development.
In this video, I'm sharing my expert tips on how you can play with your newborn and why you should. Because playing with your newborn is not just important but so much fun!

This explains why my baby gets so excited and happy when I put her on her play mat. At first I thought she just needed cuddles or burping or something when she was crying, but a lot of the time she wants to be put down

I love watching their peripheral nervous system whip their limbs all about in a discombobulated series of impulses. I imagine all grown ups doing that, sometimes with their arms folded up perpendicular at their sides with the hands at each cheek and both pinkie fingers erected straight up, putting on heirs and a false sense of long lost chivalry. lol)

Also at the end of this video I had a question, should my baby be doing this at like.. say 1:00 a.m. if she wakes up because she needs a bottle? Or should I only do this at times. Because her dad's work schedules weird so my schedule is weird so her three year old brother is schedule is weird and retroactively her schedule becomes weird.
