How To Play Whiskey In The Jar Guitar Lesson | Lead Guitar Tutorial With Tabs
In this lesson James teaches you how to play the intro and main riff for Whiskey in the Jar by Thin Lizzy.
This lead guitar lesson involved lots of hammer ons and pull offs using both Am and Em pentatonic scales. I have broken the piece into sections. Be sure to pause when you need to and use the chapters feature to navigate your way around.
Using the correct fingers in this is of paramount importance. Having your hand in the right place at the right time is key to executing these lead guitar licks efficiently.

Get comfy as there's a lot in this one. I feel like this pulls together elements from previous weeks lessons. This has stemmed from my lesson on still got the blues by Gary Moore, This lesson can be found here:

A great Anti-British song, penned written around the time of Cromwell's invasion - If old Mr Fleming knew that he would live for eternity!

Thanks for watching! I’m using the crunch channel of the boss katana artist. Any overdrive pedal will do. Use the neck pickup and enough overdrive to sustain the notes you hold onto. Use more volume than drive on the pedal. I hope that helps and thanks for watching
