Derek Trucks is by far the best slide guitar player I’ve ever seen. HIs touch and feel is second to none. Susan’s voice just melts butter too

Really, the one song I couldn’t figure out to play ~ 17 years ago, but can sing it… Bought 2 LPs for our wedding anniversary in November, 1x Lou Reed and 1x Joe Cocker. That Joe Cocker Live Album has the best (1976) performance of ‚The Letter‘ on it. I love the Tedeschi Trucks Band, especially their takes on Eric Clapton songs. Michael, you amaze me Once I have more spare time, I‘ll write you an email and start lessons Greetings from Germany

On the keyboard riff you say add the perfect fifth to each note. The fifth on the key or the fifth of each note

I feel he is not breaking down the fingering of the guitar chords. Plus he is not breaking the strumming and fingering of the right hand

Awesome, but a wee bit too fast and too sophisticated. could use a couple of chord charts to to make things clearer for the less music theory advanced learner.

This would have been a great video if you had taken 2 minutes to clearly show what cords you play. You teach this like you’re talking to people going for their masters in music theory. Sorry but you’re more confusing than helpful.

groucho421,, mate,---- "Guitargate" clearly said that this was the Tedesco Trucks version, which I have to say is quite a higher standard than all the other crap i have seen on KZread for this song,- But to help you (If you need it to see the chords) on the bottom right of the video is a small circle cog, If you go into that you can slow down or up the video speed hope that helps,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Ironically I feel like he is taking to much time explaining. Perspective is everything. If you look around you will find someone that is speaking at your current level. You're actually blaming him for your inexperience :-) Every KZread video out there is not about you. Find the ones that are.

Not confusing at all, nor masters level. Perfect for those that actually would like to learn something about the instrument beyond open position cowboy chords. I am sure Marty has a beginner level lesson on this particular song.
