The 4 3 3 against 4 4 2 formation in the build up fase can move to 3 1 4 2. The right back goes to the touch line,left back become third central back,left winger move to the touch line,right winger plays between lines like second striker. And there is 3 midfielders. There is 3 against 2 in first line and 3 against 2 in the midfield. Two strikes pin back defensive line and open up space on the sides. Very efective against 4 4 w. Similary Settien in Barcelona in his first game in charge. 4 3 3-3 1 4 2 in build up.

2006 : italy 2010 :spain 2014: Germany 2018 : France This Every world cup winning team had the formation of 4-2-3-1 and with this team they were defencevly good too. Plz make a vdo on this formation too. Thank uh👍😊

@@immortalsid1 No teams play 5 mid fielders , And 4-2-3-1 formation seems like 4-5-1 . But busi and Alonso used to be double pivot role while Iniesta , Xavi , Pedro used to play 3 attackers while villa used to play striker.

Great vid keep it up, but could you please make an analysis video on arsenal vs Chelsea as you done the semi finals and it would be interesting to see who they would play like for example in this factor David Luis has to mark giroud instead of jesus and that makes it a lot harder and it’s different so I would like to see an arsenal v Chelsea vid since there are no other games

I think most people call every formation a 4-3-3 but most teams adapt it. 4-1-4-1 or 4-2-3-1 or 4-1-3-1-1 is how I would describe Bayern's lineup with Muller. He is a secondary striker and not an attacking midfielder.

Exceptional analysis, this is why I just beg Man Utd to secure a competent CDM on top of Varane if they are a serious club for once. Having an auxiliary CDM, who is comfortable on the ball and can progress the ball will allow Pogba and Bruno or Van De Beek if he comes in for either of the two starting 8s to have more freedom on the ball. That has been the biggest blunder under the clown duo of Mcfred, Ole is thinking of implementing a 433 but this cannot work without a CDM.

The 4-3-3 formation with High press playing style is the exact kind of game Mancity and Liverpool plays which forces the opposition team to cause an error leading to a goal. Good example is mancity vs madrid 4-2 in the ucl.

In 8:00 the opposition can easily break the pressing by switching the flanks. The opposition RCB can give Long balls to opposition LCB or LB.

I think the press scenario isn’t quite right. Generally the striker will not press the goalkeeper but either the lcb or rcb then, the wingers will need to stand half (between cb and wingback) so once the ball goes to one wingback the winger can press him. At the same time your wingback should also stand half between the back and winger, to press in case the ball goes via the cb.

What a explanation. Ummwah.

Very inacurate analysis imo cuz 4-4-2 is not a formation to defend this formation. Even if they play outdated 4-4-2 and using zone defence and not press much teams would shape different defense formation transition. Tho 5:00 - 6:00 is very accurate if zonal defense takes place with 4 defence stable
